In an attempted spin-off series, a puppet called "Mad Monkey" was used to review some films that the other co-hosts refused to partake in. The idea was that "Mad Monkey" was in a constant state of frustration and would vent about bad movies. This lasted a mere five episodes, as Seth (who voiced and acted the part) found portraying the character very time consuming and painful. The character was retired, and remains a lost prop since 2015.
Blood Puddle Reviews (2014-2017) was the revival of previous show that had first been attempted in 2014 by Seth Steele and another host. After it's initial short-lived run, it was recreated and with a new cast of new hosts. Seth had always been the primary host, while Season 1 featured Tony Fernandez as a consistent co-host, there had been trial and error with other hosts for the first 20 episodes before it just became a duo-hosted show with Seth and Tony. A proposed season 2 would have featured Seth's brother James Steele as the new co-host, before it's cancellation in January of 2017.
While the other hosts' wardrobes was always changing, Seth Steele was typically seen wearing the same suit. This was an homage to other ironic horror characters who always wore a similar outfit.
Although vocal in the new incarnation of Blood Puddle Reviews, Gabe was fired from the show after 1.9 due to his erratic behavior.
Since it's initial creation in 2014, the show had gone through numerous hosts. The first was a co-host who remains unknown for legal reasons. Others were featured in brief stints through-out season 1. Tony Fernandez held the titular role of co-host for all the first season, although a proposed Season 2 would have continued without his involvement.
