Worth a Look

As a parent of a daughter who has gone to LA to "make her mark," I found the LA scene portrayed not only instructive, but accurate. Don't expect big production values, but you've gotta admire the efficiency of production. You'll also enjoy the girl fails, girl survives (sort of) girl fails, and finally thrives plot. Make no mistake about it, Surrender Dorothy is riddled with cliches, both LALA Landish and psycho babbleish...but sometimes cliches have roots in wisdom.
