A nice reunion

This was the real reason I bought the Blu-ray. I'm a real 90's kid and a Roald Dahl fan and put them both together and you've got Danny DeVito's Matilda.

The only thing I don't like about the film is that it's set in America where as the book was set in England, it would've been better if it was set there. (And this is coming from a Northern Irishman!)

But nevertheless, despite the change in setting, it is true to the source material and The Trunchbull is just spot on.

So we have the whole cast and crew invited to a tea party and it is really exciting to see all the kid actors grown up. The boy who played Bruce Bogtrotter is all thin!

Even the ones who had small parts like Julius Rottwinkle and the four year old Matilda show up. The girl who played her is a teacher now.

Tracey Walter (AKA Bob, the Joker's "Number 1....... a- guy!") makes an appearance. The Penguin and Bob reunited once again.

We have Danny talking to each cast and crew member about their experiences.

Mara mentions a fact about Matilda's doll. It is made out of things Matilda found in the house and stitched them together to resemble her mum.

We also have the cast reenact their scenes. We have the Amanda pigtails scene and the Bruce Bogtrotter cake scene. They actually made a big cake for that reenactment.

If you're a fan of the movie, you'll enjoy this.
