- When the animatronics attack, most of them look like they're biting you. When you die, the screen becomes covered in blood. A boy gets his head crushed in an animatronic's mouth. (No gore, but you can here the crunch)

- This is easily the darkest and scariest game of the series, due with the nightmarish look at the gameplay.
- Terrifying screeches can be heard.
- Even some teens and adults may find this scary.
- The animatronics in this game are extremely menacing and frightening. Some ambient noises also add fear to the game. When you are jumpscared by an animatronic, the screen gets covered in the blood (although we never see any actual violence occur).
- The game takes place in a dark bedroom. You need to listen for specific noises to win. The whole game is unsettling.
- This is probably the scariest game in the series due to the decaying look of the animatronics.
- This's considered to be the most terrifying game in the series, not only due to how realistic all of the animatronics look, but the atmosphere, tone, and since the game is extremely dependent on sounds makes it way more terrifying than the others.
- Scariest game in the FNAF series. The animatronics look terrifying (red eyes, sharp teeth, withered skin, etc.). Every time you die, you are jumpscared by scary-looking creatures. The fact that this is happening to a little boy may be upsetting to some. Random noises and the fact that you're alone can be scary.

- One scene at the end where some bullies try to make a kid "give Fredbear a big kiss" which actually meant shoving his head into its mouth.

- Nightmare Foxy's growl may startle people.
- The ending of the game is very depressing it's implied that the main character dies.
- Nightmare's and Nightmarionne's jumpscare can give Bad dreams. Also Nightmare's teeth is covered with blood improvising he murderd you.
