his personal journey of two brothers really inspired me to get out again. I've been making cycling journeys myself for a couple of years and the brothers captured the feel of a journey like this perfect! Not only have they been on the road for a couple of years, the effort of making this into a good film really shows. I could really see this project was a project from the heart. Making a film while being on the road is not an easy task, but they fulfilled it pretty damn good.
The communities they visited are as different as night and day. It's a good inside view in the alternatives capitalism society has to offer today. The stories of the people living off the grid are real unique, every community finds it's own way of existence. The film grabbed my attention for the whole 97 minutes.
The only downside is the lack of a map, or a reference to the place we are shown. As a European I have no clue where the states are the brothers cycled trough, and it was sometimes a bit hard to keep track of their progress. In that case a map or just some text would be handy. Otherwise a great film!
Inspiring till the last minute, to get out on the bike, live on your own way and not let you be molded into what society expects of you.
