The film includes his last interviews on camera, shot by the team of this film, even if more shooting was scheduled to happen soon after he passed away near his birthplace, Cazorla, in Jaen, Spain, in April 2016. Some of the testimonies speak as if he was alive, because he still was when they were recorded
Narrator Anna Saura Ramón is the daughter of prestigious director Carlos Saura and actress Eulàlia Ramon, and among the people she interviews along the documentary as part of the research about Miguel Picazo, one is her father, who was a colleague, friend and also teacher of Miguel Picazo at the Escuela de Cine in the early 1960s. Lately Saura won the award that Diputacion de Jaen, the province where Picazo was born and died, has been giving to film personalities and careers, and received the "Picazo award" from Picazo himself.
