2015 was a pretty damn great year for entertainment, evidenced by the worldwide box office seeing more billion-dollar movies than ever before, and as developers finally grew into current-gen consoles, we finally got some games to actually show these platforms off.
Still, as 2016 begins, it’s time to look forward at what’s to come, and why you absolutely, positively must stay alive until the end of the year, if only to know if a certain iconic TV character lives or dies and experience some of the most promising fictional endeavours of the last decade.
Sure, some of these events, movies, games and books will fall flat, but you need to be around to experience them for yourselves either way. If you’re ever feeling down on your luck, remember that there’s plenty to look forward to in the coming twelve months.

Curtis Axel has been revealed as the second participant into this year’s 30-man WWE Royal Rumble.
He follows Big Show into the confirmed list of names after the Giant entered himself on last week’s Raw.
WWE.com made the Curtis Axel announcement this weekend with the following teaser;
Big Show emerged on Raw to become the first competitor in this year’s 30-man melee, and we’ve since learned that Curtis Axel — who claims he was never eliminated from last year’s Royal Rumble Match — will also enter the fray (even though he evidently never left it). Which other Superstars will announce their participation in the weeks ahead? Expect more Royal Rumble news on Raw.
After how WWE turned Axel never being eliminated from last year’s Rumble into an angle which sadly never lived up to its potential, you can pretty much be rest assured...
