Unusual documentary, it doesn't reveal much about the world of cat shows. What makes it interesting is that Carly, is blind and shows Persian cats professionally. She can't drive so her friends and others drive her and her two cats to and from the shows and help her while there. There isn't any excitement or drama and I think that's why I enjoyed it.
Who would expect a blind woman to be showing cats? Cats are judged primarily on their looks and she can't see them, Carly has no way of knowing what they look like, but she can feel them and know their personalities, and love them. Her cat Tango was featured prominently in the movie and he did well at the many shows he appeared in, he didn't win first place, often he was 3rd or 7th, but she was happy that he did well enough to eventually earn enough points to go to a major show (where he did well). That is why I liked this movie, despite the difficulties she must have faced, she overcame them and did something that made her happy. It was obvious she loved her cats and that made me feel good. I finished watching this with a smile on my face.
