Bet for a while.

Emma is challenged to another dangerous game with the killer, best episode since the series began. At the start of this episode I was beginning to think that the series was starting to become a bit of an effort, that it was drawn out, the latter of this episode was excellent.

One very good scenes at the bowling alley, and lots of clues for the viewer to discover alongside Emma. We've been able to tick a few more suspects off the list, I loved the way they gave us multiple possible candidates for the killer.

Very good, 8/10.

" Hello Emma, New Game"

I think "Scream" has finally found its place in the world of the series. It is hard to decide which episode is the best, although I must admit this is one of my favorites, perhaps because it is one of the more juvenile. This time, Brooke, Emma, Jake and Noah are in a bowling alley abandoned trying to find some clues about the whereabouts of Will.

The majority of the audience complained that you characters and performances are loose, Will unfortunately dies, he was one of the more difficult to engage a connection, but his majestic kidnapping put in this episode the prominence on the four guys in the bowling alley, this trick lacks the series having many subplots in the series. Despite of everything that happened around the episode, Will die in the way most possible gore, and although not seen directly, the amount of blood in the face of Emma speaks for itself alone.

We experienced a few well-executed adrenaline moments, mainly when the murderer comes out lurking, Noah, Brooke and the rest of the team contribute too much to allow this connection. This is the episode in which the murderer more has appearance, through on the game "hide and find" you usually see in all slasher films. Most of the audience enjoys this technique, so do I, because they use different elements (of youthful preference) to entertain and to carry out the story of the episode.

On Tuesday the main events that passed on the series have great impact in the following episodes, some persecutions (Brooke) that intentional is one of the best (not counting Riley's), typical telephone calls to Emma ("Hello Emma"), teamwork and the death of one of the main characters. Now, Will died, Emma has the opportunity in her hands, to reconcile with the audience and take her character in wrath. Perhaps, in the last episodes the focus of the camera focuses on her, to get a good finish.

With omission of the youth fatal relationships of the series, a good relationship is born in the life of Maggie, Maggie and the Sheriff Hudson begin to have a couple of appointments where love begins to blossom. I fear that the inclusion of a new man in her life is one technique style Emma for more forward have a nefarious event, we all know what I mean.

"In The Trenches" is a useful episode for the series, not only reconciles to the public with the series after a couple of episodes with little suspense or deaths, also creates a point in the life of Emma can develop later. The new game has concluded the best way for the hearing, in the worst way for the characters, and we feel "Scream" will give a good season finale.

Better episode but the acting..
nicofreezer2 November 2021
The acting is so Bad sometime, its hard to watch, like brooke talking to her father, both act terrible in this scene. The rest of the time the acting is decent enough, but never great Unfortunately.

The subplot thickens

An enjoyable episode in both storyline progression and slasher mania. And a reminder for all you final girls, always watch out for a trip wire.

Scream: The TV Series (2015) In the Trenches.

"What you saw is not what it looks like". Think much, mister Mayor?

It's surprising how many people can survive being stabbed in the chest.

If you have little experience with the slasher genre then this is probably a decent series for you to enjoy.

If you do have experience with slashers then you probably won't enjoy this series because there is very little original material here. Cookie cutter characters who are unbelievably dumb. Jump scares that are ineffective. Cliched male teens with raging hormones. Teacher taking advantage of student. On and on and on.

We did start the review with our normal 8- star rating. Though the lazy writing and plot holes don't help.

It's becoming silly and unrealistic

Warning: Spoilers
It's obvious who the killer is and Emma's character makes no sense. Who would do do the things she does? No way he treats her like crap bets on her and she goes back? Yeah right.
