Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch), Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King), Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) and Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry) are the Keating 5, a team conformed by the most brilliant students of Annalise Keating' (Viola Davis) class. Their lives are about to change in a few months when four of the K5 are involved in the murder of Annalise's husband, Sam Keating. (Tom Verica)
The plot of the show seems reasonably simple. A typical murder mystery with much filler with episodes dedicated to one lawyer case to deliver some extra time. In essence this show has all that, but it gains a lot more. Every episode the plot is moving forward and we would be discovering many information about what will happen in the future with the murder of Sam Keating.
Every leading character has their unique storyline and personality that make them likeable, and episode after episode we will watch their growth and how they handle the twist and turns of their lives.
The first season of "How to Get Away with Murder" is excellent in every unique way. From characters to story, every twist is pretty well planned and I promise you will be shock with every revelation.
This season gets 10 out of 10 because it's perfect from beginning to end and it establishes how the following seasons are going to be.
