The Pokémon Company has announced a free-to-start beat-em-up called Pokémon Rumble Rush.
Pokémon Rumble Rush will be the next game in the critter-stuffed franchise to demand your attention on mobile devices. It's described in the official press release as a "free-to-start beat-‘em-up," and it will launch on iOS and Android in the near future.
"In this latest entry in the Pokémon Rumble series, exploring uncharted islands is fun and fast-paced, thanks to the easy-to-use controls and attacks that are pulled off with simple taps," the press release reads. "As you battle wild Pokémon, some of them will join your team. Keep collecting more Pokémon to build up an assortment of heavy hitters. Plus, the more you collect the same species of Pokémon, the stronger those Pokémon will be when they join you! You'll need to gather a crew of powerful Pokémon partners to take on the islands' Super Bosses.

Paramount has dated Antoine Fuqua’s Infinite, a feature adaptation of the D. Eric Maikranz novel The Reincarnationist Papers, for August 7, 2020.
The release-date move pushes the studio’s anticipated Eddie Murphy-Arsenio Hall Coming to America 2 from that date to December 18, 2020 — the old Avatar 2 spot. Coming to America 2 –which is still untitled– will join Disney/Fox/Amblin’s West Side Story on that date.
Deadline exclusively reported that Chris Evans is in talks to join Infinite, which revolves around Evan Michaels, a man who was haunted by memories of two past lives and stumbles upon a centuries-old secret society of similar individuals who make up the Cognomina, made up of those who possess total recall of their past lives and whose members have been agents of change throughout history. He seeks to join their ranks.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing for Di Bonaventura Pictures, with John Zaozirny.

On November 22nd, 2005, Bruce Springsteen wrapped up his seven-month Devils and Dust tour with an unforgettable show at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. Like every night of the tour, this was a solo show where he pivoted between acoustic guitar, piano and organ to deliver a set packed with new tunes, lesser-known songs from his deep catalog and very few hits. And with it being the last night, he went to extreme lengths to make it an unforgettable show by busting out obscurities that only his most devoted fans could possibly recognize.

A change of pace from the usual action-driven output from WWE studios, “Fighting With My Family” at times more closely brings to mind 2000’s guilty-pleasure comedy “Ready to Rumble,” one of the few filmmaking ventures by the wrestling conglomerate’s then-rival WCW. The current film has some of the same crotch-kick-level humor, and much of the same shameless brand self-promotion, if regrettably none of David Arquette’s inimitable spazardry. But there’s less guilt in this pleasure — in fact, it’s probably the best of the 50-odd movies WWE has produced since 2002’s “The Scorpion King,” which starred this film’s producer, Dwayne Johnson, who steps briefly into the action here.
Recounting the real-life story of the rise of Saraya-Jade Bevis — aka Paige — from working-class Norwich, U.K. to WWE Divas Champion at age 21, “Fighting With My Family” may not be an Oscar contender but it has enough wit, heart,...

The mage comes from the Old Persian word “magu” which means “the wise one.” It refers to a magician or a “learned person” and can be a male or a female magician as well as a real or imagined person. Examples of real mages include Zoroastrian priests and shamans. Fictional mages are popular characters in digital games such as RPG (Role Playing Games) or Mmorpg (massively multiplayer online role-playing games).
The first mention of the fictional mage appeared in “Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness.” Mages have their area of expertise such as elemental, attack, or defense magic. They’re more into the ritual practice rather than the magic or transformation. Mages use both the traditional and experimental approaches of magic.

Corey Davis, game director of “Rocket League,” added some insight to a Reddit thread Thursday, in which fans of the popular game were discussing the fall from 36,000 players on average in 2017 to 27,000 this year, according to data from Steamcharts.
While the original post that started the thread was about suggested changes the game should make to bring back players, Davis commented and offered perspective, encouraging fans to take a look at the bigger picture. Psyonix, the developer and publisher of “Rocket League,” aims to build the game as a 10-plus year franchise that players will continue to play for years to come, and Davis assures that “short-term trends on one platform or another don’t change that.”
Davis also noted that many long-term strong titles such as “Team Fortress 2” and “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” have had phases of reduced popularity, which he says is the “reality” of long-lived multiplayer games.
“Beyond that,...
