Rob's YouTube series, Cinematic Venom, has never failed to make me laugh; and his first full length feature sticks to that tradition! The Dark Knight Stumbles is everything I expected and more. Never have I seen a low budget movie so original and smart!
I personally was lost by the end of the film on my first couple viewings but that's just a compliment as to how much thought was put into this film. It's definitely not lazy!
Some are gonna hate this movie cos not every joke gets a laugh, but in my opinion DKS has got the most chuckles out of me than any big budget film has in a long time!
The actors are all great and you can see the dedication they have and how much fun they are having, especially Rob himself! Other standouts include Craig (who gets the most laughs from me), Howard who does a great job in his role, and Alex as Bane.
Does the film have it's flaws? Yes, I find Steve's (the Joker) habit of chapping his lips distracts me from the scene as they're so frequent and loud. Other than a few tiny other nitpicks I have, that's pretty much all that brings this film down! But to make up for it is many standout scenes and jokes (mainly the Whitey and Krazza scene) and ideas.
