Ivan Cuttler's mistake
Kirpianuscus22 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Nice short horror for its ingredients - the freelancer preacher , the isolated farm, the eccentric lady and her husband, the butcher, the dinner and the attitude of man and the final, predictable in many senses.

The touch of old fashion Gothic and the cinematography , the music, to, are basic pieces of this film who you feel it reflected by the small details.

The first part is a puzzle of suggestions. The visit to Taggards and the hospitality of Ma represents growing tension , because Una Kavanagh offers exactly the simple and precise mask, cold - enthusiastic , for what you can expect about the story. And Paul Kennedy proposes a great portrait of Ivan Cuttler, a preacher who lost, step by step, his superiority and the efinciency of his skills.

And, exactly the realism remains the basic virtue of this admirable crafted short film, about a killer becoming victim of a too old fashion couple.
