BAD
13Funbags3 April 2020
The writing and acting were horrendous and there was literally no plot. I could spend an hour pointing out all the bad things about this movie but it would be a bigger waste of time than watching it was. The one time people get killed in a house, they put plastic on the floor and didn't even try to hide it. You will regret watching this.

The usual Z-grade schlock
Leofwine_draca17 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This film's an example of the typically silly, Z-grade indie horror movie made with a tongue-in-cheek approach. It was shot out in the woods in Ohio somewhere with an amateur cast who give enthusiastic if not quite professional performances. The story is about a plague of killer undead babies, animated by some jaw-droppingly awful CGI effects complete with red laser effects. It's really odd and unique at times, but generally very poor and padded with scenes involving voluptuous women stripping and taking showers.

Skip this, needs more post-production
KentaroK2 October 2016
This movie needs a lot more work to be considered finished.

Yes, there is a genre of movie that does not take itself seriously, and yes, it takes a lot to make a movie... but this one shows that they fell short of potential due to a lack of effort, more than a lack of talent.

For example, the audio in every scene is not balanced. The background sounds are too loud in ever scene, but by a different ratio to the vocals. So it is hard to catch the dialogue, and what should be simple ambient sound becomes annoying.

The overall plot "sounds unique", but only if someone else explains it to you, or you guess at it. It is not well presented in the movie, and the details do not add up in a way that suspends disbelief.

The way that human memory works, people who know the crew or who wanted for whatever reason to like to movie, would remember the experience as much better than it is.

It really is a horrible, painful experience: the movie was not fully made, should be at the very least re-edited with better sound, tighter pacing, and perhaps a few scenes redone, at least.

With effort, this could have been great (at least as a low-budget comedy event)... if they had reached out to another studio, not even a big one but perhaps Cine-massacre or something, with more experience, maybe the raw material could have reached something better.

With their positive reputation, as it is, a crowd-funded remake or second project might be interesting. So I hope the team does more projects, but also collaborates more with others for the final stages of production/post-production.

As for this, skip it... it is not worth the time and doesn't have the qualities which make a movie enjoyable, and those technical details make it too annoying rather than watchable.

-6/10, if negative scores were allowed.

Not for movie snobs, but it is a fun movie
deadstar882 April 2017
So I felt moved to address the other review that was posted so here I am.

To say that there was no effort in post on this movie is simply being dismissive. It's clearly a low budget movie funded mostly by an indiegogo campaign. The budget is listed as $10,000 and their indiegogo raised $8,740 and it's advertised as being for distribution costs. Clearly this movie was shot on virtually nothing and yes, it shows.

But rather than making a purely argumentative review let me break it down into pros and cons for anyone reading;

THE CONS: The editing is rough and the digital FX leave a lot to be desired. Sound is an issue more in the outdoor scenes and some are certain worse than others. I would have liked to have seen more gore in the movie for more of a Troma kind of feel. The actors are clearly inexperienced though Jessica Bloom is the standout and a quick glance at her page shows why. I'm not sure what the deal was with the cop though. They either needed to explain more or show more of him or cut him out entirely.

THE PROS: I think this was an ambitious movie for what was clearly a very small operation. The pacing of the movie is really quite good and trucks along pretty quickly. I enjoyed the jokes, and the quirky characters. There's a bit of an absurdist approach that I think works within the setting that they establish. The appearance of Lloyd Kaufman is a treat and it's not at all surprising to find him in a film like this. Brii Davis felt inexperienced but was playful in her approach as the lead, biker warrior babe Zipp.

All in all, if you like "bad" movies then I would seriously recommend it. It's not the best movie I've ever seen but it has heart and I hope they do more.
