Marco D’Alfonso has created a glorious piece of fan art that features all of the film versions of The Joker paying tribute to Prince. The piece was created for last week’s The Line it is Drawn challenge at Cbr.
They asked artists to mash comic characters with Prince, to “illustrate his song lyrics with comic book characters, have comic book characters appear in Prince music videos, Prince album covers, comic book characters as Prince movie characters, whatever strikes your fancy!”
If you couldn’t already tell, the art was inspired by the classic 1989 Batman scene in which The Joker goes to the Gotham Museum to "lighten the mood." I included that scene below for you to watch, which included the Prince song "Partyman."...
