- Fresh outta prison and this crazed lady has stolen a van and somehow already has a loaded gun (well this is America so...).
- The crazed woman casually abducts a teenage girl at gunpoint from her friends. She has convinced herself that this is her (deceased) daughter. A fact that the girl gradually learns to adopt to survive while always trying to find a means of escape.
- The crazed woman and her teen hostage simply buying items at a convenience store where the old clerk lady recognizes them is very tense.
- Once the crazed woman has the girl isolated on a remote island, maybe also still reeling from the hit on her head, she seems to have finally come to terms with the fact that her actual daughter died long ago... and that this girl is not her... so she aims her gun at her ready to kill her...

- ...There is a shootout between the crazed woman and the girl's cop mom who's come to rescue her. A foot chase follows out into the woods where the woman gives herself up after her gun runs empty. But upon getting closer to the cop mom they begin to wrestle for the gun in her possession, which the crazed woman gets ahold of. But before she could shoot the teen girl knocks her out with a whack from a thick tree branch.
