Happy Flashback

LOVED MST3K and this was good! I was transported back to Saturdays laughing until I cried at the witticisms of these guys.

I liked the disclaimer that they are having fun and not intending to hurt anyone's feelings. Side bar: Do I need to start injecting such disclaimers into my daily conversations? I was giggling within 5 minutes of the show beginning. That said, if you are overly sensitive and have zero sense of humor, do not watch this show. As yes, they definitely make fun of this guy. Not so exaggerated example: "The only way to determine if this shark is real, is to stick my hand into his mouth and see if he bites. Ahhhhh...he bit off half my hand!" The guys respond with, "You'll need more than a Snoopy band-aid for that."

Can't wait for more episodes!

They Haven't Missed a Beat!

My initial expectations were limited to hoping the boys hadn't lost their edge after all these years. If anything, their wits have sharpened to a razor's edge! I won't give anything away, which would be impossible anyway, as you'd need the context.

MISTIES, you MUST watch this. This is what "MST3K" would have been without the background story and ancillary characters. With that out of the way, it's just pure, mocking fun right out of the gate. No silhouettes, no Forrester and TV's Frank, no problem.

Actually, there WAS a problem. I was laughing so hard, I was doubled over, applauding and gasping for breath. It's been an hour since it ended, my stomach still hurts. As soon as it settles down, though, I'm popping in my treasured VHS of "Angel's Revenge".
