The story is poorly written, the directing is subpar, and some of the actors lack acting skills. In Denmark, it was nominated for a Robert, which is Denmark's equivalent of the Oscars. This nomination reflects the standard for most Danish movies. However, the film sheds light on a common issue within the Danish film industry - a cycle of using the same actors and directors repeatedly. This restricts opportunities for talented directors and actors who don't have the right connections, as demonstrated in "KARTELLET."

And some QUESTIONS 1. His friend was beaten by bikers, but the film doesn't provide any further information about the friend or his condition, so we remain unaware of what happened to him.

2. His son's bike was destroyed, and a man offered his son a ride home. Unfortunately, the film doesn't reveal the identity of this man, leaving it unclear who he was.

3. His father was hospitalized, but the film doesn't follow up on whether the father is aware of the illegal activities or the events that took place during his hospitalization.

Kartellet leaves some of these questions unanswered, possibly to create a sense of mystery or an open ending in the plot. But it don't work.
