"Go. Go save the city."
cousbrojs8 May 2014
After last weeks abrupt ending,I was left hanging on to anything that could hold me until the next episode. And my word, this episode was worth the wait. Just like last week, EVERYONE got to have great moments in this episode. Especially Sebastian Blood. If you somehow avoided the commercials then you're in for a treat. As always, I never add spoilers in my reviews, so I hope everyone watched the episode to understand where I'm coming from.

*Acting: Excellent *Drama: Excellent *Action: Excellent *Story: Excellent

This episode not only raised the stakes, it also gave us a sense of how good the season finale will be, and it easily tops season 1's epic feel. I just hope season 3 comes back strong, and early!

Episode Rating: 10/10

Everything is more than what anyone can expect

I have never been so excited and astonished to watch any episode of any seasons. This episode sets up for the grandest finale that you will ever see. I would have rated this episode more than 10 if i could.

As usual you will get cliff-hangers that will make you wait for another week. Mark the words, the season finale is going to be epic.

Story-writing is out of this world. Actors have delivered. Dialogue is good. Action is excellent.

You will get a sense of why all of the characters were introduced in the inception of season 2.

All in all a top episode to watch. Get ready for the season finale.

A Season Highlight, And A Personal Series Highlight For Me
danielraby12 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
For me,this is truly one of arrows best episodes. The only episode i believe to rival this episode is the next, the seasons finale. The plot is what the season has been building towards, Slade's demolition of Starling City. What makes this episode so fantastic is it's many subplots, many continued on from the previous episode. From Oliver and Laurel trapped in the rubble, Diggle fighting Isabel, The attack at the police station, Oliver telling Anatoli to sink the ship, The miracuru cure, Sebastion wavering sides, Thea and Malcom, Isabel killing Sebastion, The car crash, Curing Roy, Felicity's wonderful speech and the general destruction of Starling City. The episode is so action packed, it's a miracle this episode is so fantastically presented. It could have been over-crowed, however its pacing is wonderful and never slows down. The episode is tense and is one of the best build up episodes to a season finale i have ever seen. The following episode is equally as amazing, however i am more impressed with this episode as season finales are generally more action packed than any other episodes. This episode truly amazes me and i don't think I've been this impressed in an episode of arrow. Overall i would rate this episode a 9.8/10. Easily one of the best of the series and one of the best on television.

Whoever He Loves the Most
SpideyVerse2319 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Lade made his play for Starling City in his quest to rob Oliver of all that he loves. In the process, we get a lot of payoff for personal storylines of characters which have been going on this season.

Malcolm returns to help Thea and be there for her as her father apparently, though he does repeatedly save her from Mirakuru soldiers.

Sara returns to Starling City and Laurel helps her see that she is a hero in the eyes of people and not a monster as she believes herself to be.

Oliver, Dig and Felicity race to get the Mirakuru cure but its difficult since the entire city is overriden by Mirakuru soldiers.

This episode raised the stakes for the finale and felt epic in many ways, with Oliver making a risky but desperate move in the ending.
