Proof that the late great Angus Scrimm could have read from the phone book and made it sound gothically epic!
So in this odd but charming micro-oddity of a short, various sweet things are listed by an eldery man's familiar voice and a child's voice and the tone gradually gets slightly ominous and macabre and the effect is a little on the hypnotic side, when it's over you may have a slight headache as well as possibly really wanting to eat a little candy! Nothing really much to say about this tiny short and its just a bit of strange silliness, but also it's fun and quite enjoyable if only just to hear the wonderful grim tones of a wonderful underrated thespian actor who's casual utterances here somehow terrifically convey a touch of the spooky magic of the Halloween spirit, of which now he surely is! Rest in peace good sir 🎃
