- A couple kisses aggressively and begin to undress for sex. Some skin is visible, but no nudity is shown.
- A woman bathes in a tub with a handmaiden and a man present. However, the water obscures any nudity. She rises to stand naked in front of the man and is shown completely naked from behind before she is covered with a towel.
- A couple kisses and the camera cuts to a shot of them in bed mostly covered by the sheets. Explicit nudity is blocked by arms, legs and camera angles. However, the woman's bare hip is visible and her breasts are mostly visible at times except for her nipples. Fairly explicit sexual movement is portrayed in this scene.
- A man and woman kiss and clutch each other suggestively, possibly before sex.
- A sex scene is juxtaposed with several other shots. There is near nudity with breasts shown covered only by hands. Both the man's and woman's backsides are shown with explicit thrusting. Extremely realistic and graphic without being explicit.
- A sex scene with female partial nudity (brief shots of her rear end and partial views of her breasts, but not her nipples). Sexual movement is shown as the woman rides the man.
- A woman is shown naked in bed after sex. However, no critical areas are shown.
- A woman enters a room where another woman is bathing in murky water so that no explicit nudity is visible. The woman's back is briefly shown as she exits the tub before she is wrapped in a towel.
Violence & Gore

- A man who is being punished has his wife dragged by a horse on a stone courtyard and she becomes fatally wounded and is shown dead with many scrapes on her body. The man is then sliced across the stomach and then is finally killed by having his throat slit by a sword. Quite brutal and bloody.
- A man is cut on the arm by a knife. A little bit of blood is seen.
- A man and some soldiers apprehend three thieves and kill them. One is fatally shot in the chest by an arrow, one is fatally stabbed in the chest, and one is impaled by a spear. The man who was hit by the spear survives, but is instantly killed when his throat is slit. This is perhaps the most violent and brutal scene of Part One.
- There is a war that lasts for several minutes. Many soldiers are killed by being sliced, stabbed, speared, having their throats slit and being shot by arrows. Very bloody and violent.
- A royal servant slices his hand with a knife and shows his blood to prove his loyalty.
- Some of the survivors of the war are captured and made into slaves. They are shown being whipped one time.
