The first episode of the series not to focus on a comic or a comics-based movie. The film's comics connection is explained through a loose connection to the Bobby London comic strip "Dirty Duck". London's anger at being associated with the film, which he felt exploited his character's name and infringed on his copyright trademark, inspired Comix Scrutinizer's remarks about the film.
Ironically, The Cinema Snob (2007), which was one of Isaac M. Baranoff's inspirations in creating and developing the Comix Scrutinizer character, later reviewed this film, one year after the Comix Scrutinizer episode was released. In the 2014 review, Cinema Snob states that the film "has more in common" with Bobby London's "Dirty Duck" comic strip than the film Fritz the Cat (1972), leading Baranoff to reply on Brad Jones' public Facebook page, based on his own interaction with London, that the cartoonist would be insulted by the comparison.
