Would it kill Channel 5 to do one of these properly?
You know, an actual tribute to a much missed star.
Instead we get this weird format once again that they use where they have actors playing out key moments (Dale's mum in bed taking antidepressants) for reasons only they know why. What does this add? Nothing. Is it overdramatising an already dramatic moment for the sake of 'entertainment'? Yes.
I don't like the channel in the first place, but their idea of a tribute is odd to me. Surely if you are going to do it then you might as well do it properly.
It's nice to see a tribute to Dale, it's more than ITV managed, but this wasn't good.
