In this expansion pack for the sims 3 we get probably the most important update for the whole game and that is (just in case you didn't read the title of the game that this review is for) pets. In this update you get everything pet related you could ever dream of all in one bundle without any cash-grab late additions that you have to pay extra for that my 2011-self knows EA would never attempt.
The "all you could ever dream of" features that the pets expansion adds for your game don't just include your standard pets like dogs and cats but also include other... standard pets like horses, rodents and reptiles; those kinds of standard pets that you would expect any pets themed expansion pack to include so good thing EA has done this and will definitely so totally continue to do this. For the sims 3 pets my only real complaint would be the inability to make raccoons and foxes, which we all known should be prioritized above things like horses and rodents.
Since this expansion pack has done so well and honestly just left me really satisfied as a customer and optimistic for the future I'm excited for whatever EA has to offer in the future, I mean how could they stuff up after this kind of achievement; the only thing that I could imagine them doing to stuff this up next time would be if when the sims 4 comes out they no longer categorize their expansion packs and stuff packs in a simple and understandable way but instead add something like, lets say game packs an extra version of expansion packs that thy add much less content to but only take the price down a little; even worse would be if their expansion packs got even smaller so they had to split what had previously been a great expansion pack into 2 packs where they still somehow don't bother to give us horses or reptiles! It's almost funny to see the clear decline of hypothetical-future-EA as I write this in 2011 when the sims 3 was still making me happy because its so obvious by the fact that they split the previous pets expansion pack into two just so that you can pay more for less content because my sims 4 character still wont have snakes. But obviously EA would never do that because after seeing suck a beutiful expansion pack as the sims 3 pets a ave total faith in them to continue making high quality games where a supernatural pack includes not just vampies and a pets pack includes more than dogs and cats.
