Warning: Spoilers
On this episode, Son Goku tells Naruto what to do to free him from the chains. Still, the ape mistrusts and asks him not to kill him, once he is out. Naruto admits it's going to be hard, but he will help him. He awakes right in the Yonbi's mouth, and soon tries to force the jaws to open, obviously with no result. Outside, the Hachibi doesn't know how to rescue him, and keeps holding the Yonbi. Naruto gets a good idea, he creates thousands of clones to make Son Goku to spit him out. Then, he returns to Nine Tails Mode and tries to locate the black metal bar that controls the giant ape. He searches close to the neck, just as Son told him before. He finds it, and rushes there, while Tobi realizes what he is going to do. Once Naruto reaches the bar, tries to pull it away, but chains emerge to tie him (as Tobi planned). From the subconcious, Kurama tells Naruto that if he really wants to help the Bijuus, to do as usual (and a series of flashbacks is showed), prove it with actions. And so, the hero's plan os revealed: he left a clone inside Son Goku on purpose, to gather natural energy. As the real Naruto is tied on the outside, the clone, in Sage Mode, reaches the black metal bar location from the inside, and pushes hard to send it away. He suceeds, releasing not only Son, but also the real Naruto outside. Kakashi, Gai and the Hachibi are glad to see he is fine. The way Naruto managed to take the metal bar was well thought. He had two very good ideas, first by escaping from the Ape's mouth, whose jaws are really strong, and also by leaving that clone inside. He knew that going alone from outside would be hard and obvious, Tobi would stop him at all costs. He took advantage of the situation, as the villain and the controlled Yonbi couldn't see the clone inside. Really was a brilliant idea. Then, Kurama's words of support, including his memories from the last episode, means how much he knows Naruto. He witnessed everything, and saw how he recovered after each person told him to give up his dream. Mizuki, Inari, Tsunade, Kabuto, Pain, among others, always played down his goal of becoming the Hokage, a hero. But Naruto always proved them wrong. Here, if Son Goku mistrusted him, Naruto proved him wrong. For all this, the episode was very good, the only flaw was that the sequence of flashback was unnecesarily long.

Then, there was another short part of the episode, which was needed. At the medic camp, Sakura is shown checking out the last injured shinobis. Still, as the situation is in control, and no more wounded persons arrive, she and Shizune get ready to depart to help Naruto and B. Sakura tells the woman who is going to be in charge, that she and the non combat ninjas can take care of the medic camp. The woman asks if she is worried about Naruto and the others, to which Sakura agrees, yet, Naruto always... Shizune interrupts them, as she is ready to go. They greet the medic woman, and start running towards the battlefield where Naruto and B are fighting. This scene was needed because Sakura is a very important character for the story and for Naruto. I'm not sure if this was in the manga, but still, to complete even a bit the arc, was neccesary to show what happened at the medic camp, and how Sakura and Shizune left. This is a war, and it must be treated seriously. The reality of wounded, severely injured persons, disabled, won't disappear. Even if it's played down, was good to show at least a small part. Sakura and Shizune take care of the most important part, the medical care, yet this is kept down sometimes. And then, to show Sakura thinking about Naruto is also needed. She was by his side almost all the way in Shippuden, so now, after leaving the medic camp in control, she'll rush to help her partner. And here Sakura is aware of everything, of B and the Hachibi, Tobi, even if the moments when she learned all were not showed. When the woman asked, she tried to respond that though she was worried, she knew that Naruto always comes out of bad situations. He always rises, she knows him very well. Sakura was pretty forgotten on this arc, when she does the medic part, oblivied by an anime of action. Yet this anime is very complete after all.
