In May of 2013, a series of devastating tornadoes swept through the heart of Oklahoma. They destroyed buildings, separated families, and shattered communities. But they also tore through forest and field, and we were not the only ones affected by its wake. Untold numbers of wildlife were lost or impacted as well. With most of the search and recovery efforts focused on human lives and their pets, one woman has made it her mission to save as many of these wild creatures as possible.
