- Someone is tied up in a garage and eventually killed. The killer states that he won't feel any remorse. The impact of a shotgun blast to a person's head is shown, but only very quickly. Someone commits suicide by slitting their own throat, but this turns out to be a bad dream.

- A principle character starts to have some strange visions and bad dreams, making it difficult for him to sleep. One of the more disturbing instances of these is when a women sat on a kitchen floor slits her own throat and seems almost cheerful while she does it. The movie gets surreal at some points.
