In the mid-credits sequence, the mental patients are shown re-enacting several famous movies. The last one they do is New Kids Turbo (2010), which featured cast members Tim Haars and Huub Smit, and was also written and directed by Steffen Haars and Flip Van der Kuil. In fact, Huub Smit's character Jordy impersonates the New Kids character "Richard", which was the role Smit played in New Kids Turbo (2010).
Wesley van Gaalen is the only main cast member of New Kids on the Block (2007) and its subsequent spin-off films not to be part of Bros Before Hos in any way. Tim Haars plays Max, Huub Smit plays Jordy, and directors Steffen Haars and Flip Van der Kuil can be briefly seen as Lingo contestants.
The name of this movie should be spelled "Bros Before Hos" in proper English, but is often seen as "Bro's Before Ho's", probably as a result of applying Dutch spelling and pronunciation rules to an English title (the form without apostrophes might look confusing to Dutch people). The official movie poster gets around this problem by showing the S in a smaller font.
During the scenes where Max is working in the Videocorner you see other movie names referenced such as Superbad and Pineapple Express, these are so-called "stoner comedies" which is Bro's Before Ho's as well.
