I'd wage on my tea and crumpets that season 7 is the season of Lola

As of writing this, my review for Bringing Down the House isn't up. But, I said in that review that the only passable episodes in this arc were Luan and Lola's. I already reviewed Luan's (also not up of course), so here we are with Lola's. If you haven't read my other reviews, Lola is my favorite character in the show. Candy Crushed was a fantastic episode and honestly probably her best in the series, it really shot up Lola's character for how they developed her. When they give her those kind of moments, it's so satisfying. This episode is no different. Well, it's not as good as Candy Crushed, but I still love this episode.

Jesus, I'm barely into this review and I've already poured my heart out. Here's why I loved Candy Crushed so much: development and plot. Why do I like this episode? Same exact reason. The main reason I love Lola is due to how far she's come. I love those kinds of characters that started as bad but turned good (Brandy Harrington), this episode developed her in her viewpoint on stardom... and how it's not glamorous (especially doing it at a young age).

Was a huge fan of this episode's atmosphere. I like the Hollywood setting and the Dakota Rhoda sets. Lola in the outfit was cute and made for some cool moments as well.

I mean, the ending was little strange, but that cool "you don't want this? Oh, I'll give you that!" was nice to see again. I like revenge plots (not just because they make for cool edit sources). I just love Lola, I'm really excited for what else she has in season 7. Honestly, 10/10. I'm getting obsessed with seeing Lola in this season, she's on a streak!

Well, as this arc comes to an end, we don't end on a bang, but a whimper. There is barely anything I can say about this episode. It was very.. what's the word... oh yeah, BORING.

The entire thing can be summed up as 90% hiding and 10% of good moments (the end party and the moments of Rita talking for her column).

What else is there for me to write? It's not funny, lackluster, pretty much nothing. It was a very disappointing conclusion, wish these two were swapped kind of.

3/10. Might add more later if I find something else. Scores average to a 6.5/10.
