Entertaining, lively,, well acted romcom drama
mosquitocyn21 July 2023
This review is based on the first 3 episodes which are the total episodes released to-date. Firstly, this series is entertaining, possesses a good vibe, funny at times, fast paced and has a good cast including our very compatible 2 main leads. Leyla (played by Hafsanur) and Ates (played by Kerem) are wonderful to watch together - you can feel the banter and tension simmering and building between them and the strong attraction they have despite their differences and by the 3rd episode you have them kissing. Well, this is what one looks for in a romcom, anyways - some feel good time without too much sorrow and cruel sidekicks. I love Hafsanur's acting. She has this joyful lively stubborn vibe. I first watched her in Son Yaz and thought how beautiful she is. Kerem is at his best again. I also like the 3 children included in this series - gives a refreshing addition. The weak link in this series is the plot which has been overused again and again. There's the ultra rich guy who has his own dark vulnerable secret and the lying poor heroine (this time even a con woman) who has a soft heart and a mystery about her mother. Then there's a jealous "wanna be" girlfriend. I just hope the plot develops more and Leyla has more to contribute in terms of her development of her role. There are a few scenes that reminds me of Love for Rent (Defne and Omer). Those who love that series will recognize which scenes those are. So, a rating of 8 for all 3 episodes of this series which so far in my view is one of the more enjoyable romcoms this summer.

Excellent, I love it
estherslk14 July 2023
I loved both episodes, although my language is not Turkish, I was able to understand well thanks to these great actors and their great acting.

Kerem Bürsin is an excellent and magnificent actor Excellent performance I can't wait to see the next episode and the rest.

I would love it if they also translated it into Spanish so I could enjoy it much more I think she has her own light and everything Kerem does is fantastic, without detracting from the rest of the actors and especially Hafsanur, who is a great actress.

And the plot is very interesting in each episode. That's why I'm waiting so long for the next chapter.

Kerem Bürsin is back.
tonia_garofalo16 July 2023
I was waiting anxiously for Kerem's return to the screens. I knew he wouldn't let me down because I blindly trust his career choices, he never misses a beat. In fact, Ya Çok Seversen is also a small jewel full of intrigue. A family drama that doesn't exclude funny moments, it's well balanced, the writing is impeccable and the cast is all on point. Hafsa was a pleasant discovery, her chemistry with Kerem can be felt even at a glance. I can't wait to find out what this story has in store for us. I advise everyone to start it to detach their heads from our reality and spend a few hours in the company of an original story that has so much to say.

Ya Çok Seversen

It is a very dynamic series, little by little they get to know the characters for the development of a beautiful story, wonderful performances by the younger cast as well as the main characters. A very interesting topic, where as the chapters go by we will analyze the family traumas of each character in the series, as well as the intrigues of some characters. Exquisite soundtrack full of songs with lyrics that come to us, each song for a special situation that excites us. Definitely the content, acting, production and direction are very well executed and we will have a series to remember. Good Luck Ya Çok Seversen.

This series is good at the first 3 episodes but as the story goes on, viewers tend to lose interest, it won't captivate you. Seems like the plot is AI generated 🤣 Too many loopeholes and boring scenes. The slow burn romance is not igniting the fire. No couple chemistry. And the background musics are too cringe.

But kudos to the hottie male lead , he's the reason why I'm trying hard to at least finish the series lmaoo This series is good at the first 3 episodes but as the story goes on, viewers tend to lose interest, it won't captivate you. Amazing Episodes Ever
jairadonkar30 July 2023
One of the film's strongest aspects lies in its skillful exploration of trust and authenticity. As Ates and Leyla learn to confront their demons and open their hearts, they find solace in each other's vulnerability, breaking down the barriers that once isolated them from the world. Their evolving relationship is both tender and bittersweet, a testament to the profound impact of genuine human connections.

As the characters embark on a transformative journey, the film leaves us pondering the significance of genuine connections in shaping our destinies. A testament to the resilience of the human spirit, Crossing Paths is a cinematic masterpiece that lingers in the heart long after the final credits roll.

Kerem returns with a bang!!
nicosciscente8 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This series features a great story and it's all about family. Kerem and Hafsa are great in their roles with amazing chemistry between them and the rest of the cast is superb. The scenery is amazing also. Both main characters have had family turmoil in their lives with past heartaches which still haunt them till today. He's rich, she's not so there's some friction there upon meeting which is an obstacle to overcome. Due to circumstances Ates(Kerem) has to follow his late father's will which involves taking care of siblings for 3 months and Leyla(Hafsa) gets mixed up in it all due to unexpected occurrences. The musical scores are really great and the visual effects are amazing. A must watch featuring an international star, Kerem Bursin!!

Bad

The series didn't really grab me. Not funny enough for one romantic comedy and not even exciting to be a drama. It doesn't make me laugh, it doesn't make me cry, it doesn't bring any suspense, in other words, it's very dull. Furthermore, the acting of the protagonists is quite weak, and there is no chemistry between the couple. Everything is exaggerated, from the gestures to the costumes. The dialogues are boring and make you want to speed up to skip scenes. The kids are cute but that's not enough to please the audience.

That's why my rating can't be higher than that. I hope that these actors can be in other projects that are more suitable for them and that they show better acting.

Love Love Love this series.
tempresident19 August 2023
Edit: Nooooo! Why only 13 episodes? The good series are always too few episodes. Please, please cast Hafsanur Sancaktutan and Kerem Bürsin together again. They are amazing together. My two favourite actors at the moment.

I love this series and can't wait for the next episode.

The chemistry between the FL Hafsanur Sancaktutan and ML Kerem Bürsin are off the charts. Every episode is on a knife's edge. Waiting every moment for the bomb to explode and praying that it doesn't because it will destroy the best love story.

There are hidden secrets of the FL's past and she unfortunately got entrapped by a opportunist using her to make money (Yakup). She falls for it because she needs the finance to help a person in hospital who had an accident just as he was about to tell her about her family. But this decision of becoming involved in a criminal enterprise can blow up in her face at any moment, causing her to lose the love she found with the ML.

All the characters are brilliantly cast. So good to see how the children (all unique and great in their roles) at first wanted nothing to do with their half brother (and he with them) but how they are getting attached and changing each other. Such a beautiful story. And the two villains, Füsun & Yakup are great in their roles.

I usually skip the side stories as they tend to be boring, but not in this series. Excellently done.

Amazing summer series
gerik-5817618 August 2023
A wonderful and refreshing story and a perfect match for the summer. The storyline is very intriguing and keeps you on the edge. The main actors and the whole cast are just incredibly talented and so lovely. The passion and chemistry between Kerem and Hafsanur is off the charts and everyone watching their story is in for good romance. You can rarely find such series nowadays. The kids in the series are so good at such a young age and they keep you entertained so well that you cannot get enough of their scenes. Eagerly waiting for the story to develope and hope to see more of Ateyla's love! The whole team behind this beautiful series deserves applauds and admiration. Big thank you to the people who brought these two talented actors together and gifted us with all these amazing feelings!

Amazing drama
jessicabueno_g15 July 2023
I really loved the episodes, the main characters were properly presented, their traumas and their fears. Looking forward to seeing how they will overcome all obstacles and how they will deal with their broken families. Ates and Leyla are two broken people who built walls to defend themselves from the world, I believe that together they found a balance to take care of themselves and the people they love. Wonderful acting, I usually have a hard time watching Turkish productions because they overdo the characters' reactions and this one is spot on. I hope that just as they conquered me, they conquer more people.

Romance drama of the year
beautifullyouare6 August 2023
I didn't expect it to be that good. The first episode was okish second got little more interesting but from the third episode it became my favorite. This dizi has everything to make you fall in love with it. Good storyline, good star cast and good team. I love ates the man with his own trust issue and who has live his whole life alone will have to spend time with siblings and Leyla. He is slowly falling in love with both his siblings and Leyla Leyla for whom ates should have been just the next target couldn't hold herself from falling in love with him. I am excited for the future plot it would be interesting to see how this story progress.

The Best Episodes I found for the day!!
salamahiqmat20 July 2023
I Was Eager To Be Here When I saw the content through Social Ads

Though I didn't Understand Or Speak Turkish, But The Subtitle Gave It Details To The Fullest.... Muah, I love It

I always get upset when I read comparisons to SCK because I adore it, but I don't get why people attempt to draw parallels between things that aren't really connected. Ates=Serkan? Are you sure? Gitme? Now that Serkan has also mentioned it, they must alter their behavior. Don't make a fool of yourself, please.

Amazing plot, characters, and chemistry deserve a lot of praise! Every relationship will develop, and we'll see a variety of them. Berit + Ates, Aydos + Ates, and Ilgaz + Ates! Ates and Leyla together with Leyla and the kids, of course... You realize we have a lot ahead of us; be prepared!

Who gave it one star without even watching the show really intrigues me. For this, I could put my hand in the flames.

Great Job.. Keep it up.

Warning: Spoilers
Wonderful series, Kerem is wonderful, talented, charismatic. I recommend. Great location, very well chosen actors. The series tells the story of Arjaly's family. I especially want to mention the little actress who played the role of Berit. This is a wonderful summer series that will not leave anyone indifferent. Well, Kerem, he is a gift to this world!!!!! Acting is superb. This is not a repetition of the image of Serkan Bolat, this is a completely different character. Kerem is different everywhere and always surprises! Plunge into the atmosphere of modern Istanbul, its monuments, streets, parks and squares, feel the magic and beauty of this spiritual history.

Amazing, u will fall in love with kerem again.
h-012996 August 2023
Kerem Bürsin as always with his outstanding talent brings his new character Ates Arcali to the screen!

I watch and appreciate the talents of Kerem Bürsin as always he brings it! The relationship of romance is a distraction to what should have focused on the other characters and the family dynamics.

Emotionally damaged and distant from commitment he brings us along for the ride! Kerems interactions as Ates an older brother shines always with young child actors. Emotional scenes serve and he will do justice to this series!

Thank you for choosing this series and making our summer this special and amazing.

Lot's of love kerem.

As a viewer the similarities from the writers and production are obvious that the success of SenCalKapimi SCK was the intent in much of the "romantic" relationship as a criticism nothing will ever compare to the partnership in SCK and shouldn't have been so obvious or tried to replicate!

I watch and appreciate the talents of Kerem Bürsin as always he brings it! The relationship of romance is a distraction to what should have focused on the other characters and the family dynamics.

Curious
hrrbpc16 July 2023
Im really curious who rated it 1 star without even watching the episode. I could put my hand in the fire for this.

It deserves a lot, amazing plot, cast, chemistry! Every relationship will grow and we will see different kind of it. Ates + Berit, Ates+ Aydos...Ates+Ilgaz! And ofc Ates+ Leyla with Leyla and the kids too... You understand we have a lot that awaits us, Be ready!

When i read the comparisons with sck i always get mad because i love it but it doesn't make sense to me that people try to find every single parallel when they aren't even correlated... Ates=Serkan? Are u serious? Gitme? Now they have to change don't go because serkan said it too? Come on dont embarrass yourself.

Peace and Love.

Kerem Bursin Made It Raw and Impressive
jamesdrayton-5205230 July 2023
The chemistry between the lead actors is electrifying, their performances imbued with raw emotion and depth. Baran Akinci's portrayal of Ates is heartbreakingly real, capturing the essence of a man haunted by his past. Aylin Demir's portrayal of Leyla is equally compelling, as she subtly peels back the layers of her character's complex persona.

Masterpiece!
fhtuumfmgw15 September 2023
Ya Cok Seversen is an absolute masterpiece. This show is a shining example of how captivating storytelling, remarkable performances, and genuine emotions can come together to create an unforgettable viewing experience.

The performance of Kerem Bursin and the rest of the cast is simply outstanding. The actors bring their characters to life with such authenticity and passion that it's impossible not to become emotionally invested in their stories.

What sets Ya Cok Seversen apart is its ability to evoke a wide range of emotions. It's a rollercoaster of feelings, from joy to heartache, and it handles each emotion with sensitivity and grace. The show's soundtrack complements the emotional depth perfectly, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

In addition to its entertainment value, Ya Cok Seversen also explores important themes like love, forgiveness, and the power of family bonds. Love it!!

Kerem and Hafsa is partner that we never thought we needed. great!
genieviveelacion26 July 2023
This series should be watch. Perfect melo drama with perfect romance, family issues a bit touch of comedy which makes it more very pleasing to audience. This suits me since i prefer to watch this kind of shows with no heavy drama, killing and violence of any kind. Kids ( aydos, ilgaz and berit) will truly capture your attention especially the little one Berit who is so adorable will capture your heart. Kerem and Hafsa are perfect match in this series, they bring out the best of each other. I wouldn't compare it to the actors previous drama coz it has its own personal gentle touch to the viewers.
