With Harris now awake, he begins his own reflection into the events of the summer, and the experience of working alongside Gibson. After a fumbled introduction to the group caused by Scotty's interruption, Harris is looking to take the reins back on leading the room, proving to both the young men, and to Gibson that he can maintain control. With Scotty arriving late to a group exercise, Harris, with the help of Lucas, uses the disruption as an opportunity to make an example of Scotty in front of his peers; exposing him in more ways than one, while inadvertently fostering a deeper connection between Scotty and Ben. To Harris' frustration, Scotty manages to hold his own, and get the last word. Tensions also rise in the hospital when Lucas expresses his frustration over the investigation, accusing Scotty of playing a larger role in Gibson's death. At camp, Gibson exercises his manipulative tactics while working privately with Blake. While Harris struggles over his wavering control of the program, showing us that he might not be who we think, Olson also holds onto a secret of his own. Meanwhile, Scotty's deepening trust in Ben allows him to reveal the richer truth about 'Penny' and the revealing scope of community they can all lean on; past and present.
