With the death of Gibson at the forefront of Olson's investigation, Scotty takes us back to the beginning of his summer; introducing us to CedarRidge, his reason for returning, and the complex dualistic threat of camp director Gibson, and counselor Harris. Back at the hospital, Scotty connects with Owen over their shared time at camp, and whether his own lionheart strategy to protect them all did more harm than good; especially for Blake, who remains unconscious. However, Scotty isn't the only one concerned with Blake's health, as a conflicted Lucas shares in his own private moment of reflection at his bedside. Ben's ostracism reveals a look back on an initially turbulent introduction with Scotty, who extends an olive branch; leaving Ben with 'Penny' -a camp journal. Blake's late arrival at camp has Scotty worried about what he is stepping into as Gibson is so much more dangerous than any of them expected. While Scotty's worry continues over Blake's health; from the next room, Harris' recovery looms over them all.
