Scotty wrestles his thoughts as he recovers alongside his friends in a remote hospital. In the aftermath of a forest fire, flashes of the blaze and the preceding summer dart through his mind. Scotty is on the hunt for answers; his focus steadfast on the group, and making sure everyone made it through. However, Scotty is not the only one with questions as an investigation gets underway into the circumstances behind their rescue. The inquiry, led by officer Olson, begins a reflective journey back to Camp CedarRidge, and a collective summer spent in the grips of an isolated conversion therapy program; with new camp director, Gibson at the helm. A community bonded by their shared adversity, Scotty and his friends reflect back on the summer and the lingering fallout that still threatens them all. Uncertainties and questions abound, but one thing becomes clear -these young men are not yet out of the woods yet... and not everyone made it out of the fire.
