If you enjoy stories about love, friendship, fashion, and business, you'll undoubtedly appreciate 'That Cover Girl.' What makes it special is its focus on women empowerment, Muslim fashion, as well as the flaws and challenges faced by the main character, which are not commonly seen in other Malay dramas. The uniqueness, quality, and outstanding performances make 'That Cover Girl' a masterpiece. When I watch it, I feel proud because this drama is one of the best-made Malaysian dramas that looks international, and the fact that the story is original (not an adaptation) makes it even more outstanding.
Siti Saleha is soamazing in this drama. We already know she's a good actor, but in this drama, I can see she takes her role very seriously. She brilliantly embodies her character, drawing me in and fostering a strong attachment. I just love her and I can't imagine anyone else portraying Sofi Safwan as effectively as she does.
As for the cons, I find it challenging to pinpoint any. The quality is much better than other popular Malay dramas, and it's almost perfect in everything - story, acting, cinematography & editing. Even the original soundtrack is good and fits the story's mood well.
In my opinion, this drama deserves a solid 10 ⭐
