Unplayable garbage

When EA simply don't care anymore and just wants your money through micro transactions...

Haven't manage to finish a game without massive bugs, game freeze all the time and have to be restarted, have played all the FIFA since 2000 and this is hands down the most broken and incomplete and incompetent game ever..

EA if you are reading this, you deservedly lost the rights to use the FIFA name with your mockery of a football game.

Their career mode is so badly made I simply have to give up..

If you haven't fallen in the the trap of buying this game DON'T..

Rant over, wish EA would be aswel...

TRASH GAME

Worst game in the history, this game is so toxic and the gameplay sucks. I am NEVER buying another fifa from you. I'm done with EA, worst company in the history of gaming. I'm done with all your games. Just some advice, make an app that works, too busy being money hungry. Producing copies of games that were created 10 years ago, reskinning them, and selling them at full price, so children buy your games with their momma's credit card to actually make their platform functional, hope ya'll go bankrupt and make way for a real gaming company. Games constantly stuck on download or apply during update.

That crap was unforgiveable years ago. Its 2024 and your still trash.

Just leave the space, I mean make your money of us and invest, but just vanish from having any interaction with gamers other than cash so we can enjoy our passions without your negligence and lack of class.

Thanks for absolutely NOTHING EA.

Absolute Horror Show

Wow where to start, well the mechanics in previous Fifa games were bad in parts, but this has atrocious mechanics throughout. Players are static, move like they've got diarrhoea and are generally unresponsive. The gameplay is really clunky, on first play I was thinking ok I'll get used to it, but no it's not improved. Add to that the fact that all of the glitches or gameplay exploits from previous instalments are still present (scripting, kick off glitch and cut back exploit notably), show that once again EA have just slapped a kit and squad update on Fifa 23, whilst somehow making the gameplay ten times worse. Add to the fact that Ultimate Team is an utter slog this year already, where obvious monetisation has become the only way to get a decent team and you see that rather than evolve after losing the Fifa license, EA have just regressed and lazily plopped out arguably the worse football game (soccer to our American cousins, so not to confuse the Madden franchise), they have ever released. With eFootball also being a shambles again, we desperately need new developers to release new football games and break EA's horrific monopoly.

Garbage

And again EA is releasing an unfinished game/career mode, job wel done lads. When you are a career mode player you are just waiting for another company to stand up. It's a shame EA is only focussing on FUT and forget the rest of the people who are spending around 70,- for a game that isn't even finished. There is so much to get out of career mode, I think there are a lot of potential improvements but at EA they don't tend to see them or want to spend to much money on them. And yes, they added a few thing the last few years but sometimes when they come up with something new they tend to **** it up.

This game was better on PS4.

So I originally played this game on PS4 and really enjoyed it. Mainly playing ultimate team.

Bought a PS5 for myself and have discovered how terrible a game it actually is. Players acting like idiots when defending by not reacting to simple switches so I can't change to a player in time.

The midfield is chocka, no point even attempting to pass it to anyone in that area as it's impossible to get any time on the ball.

I'm in shock at how terrible it actually is. My advice is to buy it on previous gen consoles. Graphics may not be as good but the gameplay is so much more fun.

It's gone back fifa 23 where you can score finesse shots from the edge of the box. I'm fairly confident that all the keepers are wearing blindfolds as the amount of terrible goals I've conceded from outaode the box or even pretry much directly at the keeper is ridiculous. Honestly so frustrating. I'm embarrassed for EA.

An update stated that they've tried to address the midfield problem so lord knows how bad it was before they did this.

My advice as stated is play it on PS4 or buy a football and go have a kick around.

Worst soccer game by EA yet

I really used to love playing what by then was still called FIFA years ago. It was always fun to play against or with your friends. Unfortunately, this new installment EA Sports FC (what an uninspired name) is the worst soccer game by EA yet. This encompasses all game modes, unfortunately.

ULTIMATE TEAM: I used to love playing this mode and competing in the weekend league in the past. But now it's virtually impossible to even qualify for the weekend league if you don't invest a lot of money. I cannot even qualify anymore without pay-to-win and losing badly every single match really got me frustrated. The only thing positive about Ultimate Team is the inclusion of female players, so I could add legends like Alexandra Popp and Alexia Putellas to my team which allows for more diversity in my dream team.

VOLTA: Again, I used to be a huge fan of FIFA Street but its new version, VOLTA, is no fun to play. The players seem to glide across the pitch instead of running which is very irritating and unnatural. Also, it's just about tricks now anymore which some of my opponents used all the time with no chance for me of getting the ball.

CAREER MODE: The career mode hasn't changed in years but it is still the only partially enjoyable mode of the game. Taking your team from the lower leagues up to the first league, buying new players and managing your club is still fun. However, unfortunately the difficulty settings hamper the fun. On Professional I beat every opponent easily with 10-2 or something like that. On World Class and Legend the balancing is off - some matches you win easily while in others you are being completely destroyed. There is no reasonable balance here as the quality of the teams you are competing with has no relation to whether you have one of these easy games or clear losses.

PRO CLUBS: It's still some fun to play this with friends but the AI - especially when defending - is horrible (which is also true for the Ultimate Team by the way). Again, frustration is often the result.

In the end, EA Sports FC is unfortunately a bad soccer game which is frustrating rather than enjoyable. Unfortunately, Konami is no alternative either as it has very limited modes and generally bad graphics.

They Need to go back to the old ways

I am convinced that this game hasn't been good since Fifa 18, after that (abysmal) to say the least. Apart from Fifa 20 being 'mid' at least in my opinion, being a minor improvement over the rest after or the exact one before it.

These games are soulless, way to expensive and far from a finished product. But, they for some reason decide to still go down that path of ridiculously poor gameplay, in order for money. And to cash in on the next big thing. Being equally as exhausting to conjour and complete, and violate us with £90 priced garbage.

I even watched a video saying "it's not easy to make football games" trying to defend the beutiful game. But, I just can't bring myself to agree, my thoughts and opinions are completely different. For examples, Fifa 13 is the Best Fifa, the gameplay is smooth and simple, and the style is equally as impressive and it doesn't endeavour on relying on profits and Fifa points to milk out money. Likewise, with many old Fifas. Very fun, very enjoyable and an easy game to play. Ofcourse, they all had there minor issues here and their but they were still always great games to play. Doing the basics and setting up high standards. Whilst being a better game. These so called "Fifas, or Ea24" are so transparent in comparison to those earlier fifas it's almost laughable, and a complete travesty to what made these games so good in the first place.

They should go back and do the basics first, then get the gameplay out. Instead of these updates every single millisecond that doesn't do anything, and make sure everything is in place. Because, watching people play it is hillarious, but for all the wrong reasons. The invisible man? Yeah because I somehow sore that, and that was bizarre and strange. And over-the-top and poor execution (no pun intended). And constant glitches that make the game poor.

I had fun playing with my little Brother. But in all honesty, the merits all have to go to the effects, which are always impressive and smooth. Just ashame about the rest of the game. I won't by the newer ones anymore, because of how badly they've been made, or mid for the past 5 years. Fifa 17 was the last great Fifa, all the rest are forgettable as sin. And after they have done the things that will likely improve the game in more ways then one, then make it £90-£100 quid for Ea, Until then it'll keep being lame and pathetic. Rant over.

Unless your like Mark Goldbridge doing career modes for people to enjoy, I suggest you skipp it like paint dry.
