Stunning Cinema - Keep the tissues ready
manisha-0967521 April 2023
This certainly is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. Just reminded me of my upbringing, my roots, my childhood, my youth days & what relationships are. The camera, the direction, the music, the sound, the acting, through the story it tells and the overall atmosphere, to the emotions it arouses, "School College Ani Life" is simply mesmerizing. There is not too much drama, or humor, or mystery here, no tension, no brainstorming. But there is magic, magic of life, which intertwine in the heart of a boy. It's a relaxing motion picture which fills the heart and soul. It is full of symbolism, but it is so lovely that I do not want to analyze it in any way. Just sit back comfortably and enjoy your own experience of this classic piece of cinema. Love it.

Aprateem Cinema.
aniruddharandhive23 April 2023
Kharach manala lagla ha cinema. Hrudayshparshi. Saadhya simple lokancha cinema. It's very relatable especially for people who have worked hard to make it in life. People who have got everything from their families and have had an easy life may not relate to this. But this is a story of 90 percent people of India.

Direction is really nice. Simple yet touching. Every actor is excellent. Cinematography and all departments have done a wonderful job.

This film will definitely remind you of those earlier simpler times.

The picnic scene, Nirvan's departure and the climax will choke you. I was numb even after I reached home after watching the movie. Strongly recommended.

Must Watch

The movie reminds you to make memories and live in the present - memories will only remind you of happy times. The music is a vibe in theatre. Climax is realistic yet very emotional. It shows whatever be the situations - don't dwell into the past. Accept & move on..!!

It's a must watch - it's a simple story but will leave you nostalgic. The actors have done a fab job. Tejasswi,Karan,Jitendra sir and the kids have nailed their scenes. The simplicity of the movie wins you over.

The dialogues are so soulful. Also narration by Shreyas Talpade is so amazing - it adds to the situation. Screenplay, cinematography is awesome.

Simple yet beautiful. A gentle reminder of those wonder years
dineshgaonkar-1833021 April 2023
A real masterpiece! I can't remember another movie so moving like this in recent times. So pure and honest. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, yet it is so simple and straightforward. Maybe there lies its magic. Just pure emotions and feelings, love, fear, grief and regret, nostalgia for childhood and youth, memories of places and times that will not come back, memories of the loved ones. Some movies are there to entertain, some to scare, some to question. This movie is there to affect your feelings. Definitely to be seen. Hats off to the director & team for making such a beautiful touching drama!

PS: The mere thought of that picnic scene will give you goosebumps even 2 days after watching the film. Will be etched forever.

Missing those days! Wonderful movie!
sushmakore23 April 2023
Certain films transcend the pages of the script and the screen and become something greater. Certain films become something that turns your eyes from just watching it play out, to experiencing the film through your entire emotional state. I guess what I mean is that 'School College Ani Life' to me meant more than just another film. It made me feel unlike I ever had before. It's one of the best films for diehard romantics. Not only is it a deeply emotional experience but it's also a joy to watch.

It tells the story of Nirvan, a famous entrepreneur who looks back on his time growing up at his hometown and his deep bond with a neighbour mentor Sheikh Chacha. There are plenty of great unlikely relationships in movies but none really moved me as much as Nirvan's and Chacha's. There's something to be said about that person in your life, family or not, who inspires you to become who you are and teaches you the do's and don'ts of life. Jitendra Joshi was that to Karan Parab.

Excellent cinematography. Visuals make you dive in the world of Nirvan.

The film is also complimented by a beautiful score. A subtle romance story of Nirvan and Indu is also worth mentioning. It's just one of those movies that impacts you more than you think. It's a great bittersweet story.

Huge credit to the director who happens to be the writer too for creating this beautiful world of 'School College Ani Life'.

A movie with a real touch to life.. beautifully crafted.
shilpakarnavar23 April 2023
Starting to end each reel scene looks like it touched to reality of every commoner in different aspects of life. So soft and calm and peaceful songs , really stress buster. Superb acting with great locations and taking every piece of art perfectly from the camera. Presented so well in a very sophisticated way.

This kind of picturisation is very few in movies where romance is shown through different slice of life.

Very importantly, comparing with other movies is that we can watch the entire movie with the younger or youngest generation without any hesitation. It's a great movie to binge watch and must watch. Please hurry to thearts who didn't yet .

A must watch Marathi movie of 2023!
arrujutamore23 April 2023
Amazing film.... and presented in a very nice realistic manner... everyone must have experienced these moments at some point in their lives... but the way they have been presented in the movie... it really touched...the director has taken true efforts in maintaining the balance of presenting the joy of childhood, and then the practicality of life so perfectly... I got goosebumps watching several scenes... Rang Bahara has become an addiction after seeing it on a big screen and feeling it.... Great efforts by director Vihan Suryavanshi and actors Karan Parab, Tejaswi Prakash & Jitendra Joshi. A must watch Marathi movie of 2023!

A motion picture with Heart and Soul
karuna_g21 April 2023
Excellent movie, very funny and emotional at times. Beautiful scenery good positive characters, great music & excellent performances.

The kids were just too good to set up the mood of the film. And later Sheikh Chacha, Nirvan & Indu drive you through an unforgettable journey of life. The direction of this movie is so subtle that it just moves you with every scene. It's such a simple story that you can go terribly wrong with treatment but here it's been handled very maturely. Every character has a story to tell. That's the beauty of this film. Cinematography is superbly aligned with the storytelling.

I never watched a movie which grabs you so fast and really connects with the characters, incredible how todays movie lacks of that. The end is very emotional, last scene is superb, thanks to the music, acting of main actor and the voice of the supremely talented Jitendra Joshi.

You can't miss this gem.

A simple movie with true heartfelt emotions!! ✨
pritikashetty-4455223 April 2023
Watched School College aani Life (SCL) and I had a lovely time experiencing this movie on the big screen especially with a big group of my childhood friends reliving our school and college memories...it was a simple movie and Tejaswi looked very charming and confident as a debutant... Karan was good in his role too and Mr Joshi was extremely brilliant with his stellar performance in the entire cast!! He truly stole the show and was such a relatable character..I thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the movie with the school kids..young Nirvaan was very sweet... the director did a fantastic job in getting the best out of his movie characters especially the small kids acting so naturally! They were giving their best performance and you can see them enjoying it! I enjoyed the music too, especially Bavre mann... It's a nicely picturised emotional song ..overall this movie was an amazing experience especially to watch on the big screen...I believe the director has the talent and capability to turn simple stories into something grand on the screen especially in the Marathi domain (**referring to his previously released movie Roopnagar ke Cheetey as well)...that's something unique as the picturization, acting, dialogue delivery, music, cinematography makes his Marathi movies feel at par with some good Hindi films (with the end product delivered as a high quality Marathi cinema experience for movie lovers!)

Keep such good quality movies coming Mr Vihan Suryavanshi!! Waiting for the next big release soon!! 👏👏✨✨🤞🤞

Very poor movie
mehmood_shaikh2129 June 2023
Very boring and pakau movie. Same old story and nothing fresh. First half was bearable but second half was sleep worthy. Nothing novel about the story. Wasted 2 and a half hours of my life. I literally scolded my friend for recommending this movie. Was travelling to pune for some work and had a free time of 3-4 hours in between meetings and had nothing to do so bought this movie's ticket and went to see it. Marathi films are worse than bollywood. Very poor and substandard films they make nowadays. I used to enjoy watching marathi films once upon a time because they used to be entertaining and had very strong and unique stories and conveyed good message also. Its sad they dont make such movies anymore. How do you expect audiences to go to theatre and watch their film if they keep making such trash?! Better wait for it to come on OTT platform, though this is not even worth watching on an OTT platform. P. S: Also i'm not a fan of sad endings. After jheloing it for almost two and a half hours, this is what your climax is! Absolute cringe!

A roller coaster walk down the memory lane. Spellbinding Cinema
seemaj-6222518 April 2023
A movie that will touch your heart. Will make you want to enter the world the characters live in. Too much fun in school and college. Life part is extremely moving. It will make you feel nostalgic. I wept a few times during the film. Realistic approach to this simple story makes you fall in love with this film. Excellent storytelling by the director. Acting, Cinematography, Music and Background Score infact every department is top notch. It's a Marathi film which has vibes of Malayalam Cinema at its best. The kids were too good. Don't miss this gem :) I'm not speaking much about the story as it's something you should watch!!!

Today forgotten but tomorrow's classic :)
sampat_kale22 April 2023
"School College Ani Life" is a classic that takes you on an emotional journey through the innocence of this little boy Nirvan. As he grows up, he must confront the realities of adulthood and the loss of his childhood memories.

The film's strength lies in its ability to transport the audience to a different time and place, evoking nostalgia and a sense of longing for a bygone era. Very maturely handled by the director. This is certainly not an easy film to direct. Every character is memorable. The cinematography is stunning, capturing the beauty of rural Maharashtra. Music and score adds to the film's emotional impact, creating a sense of melancholy that stays with the viewer long after the credits roll.

The performances are outstanding, particularly those of Jitendra Joshi and Karan Parab, who portray the mentor Chacha & young Nirvan, respectively. Their relationship is the heart of the film, and their scenes together are some of the most memorable in the film. Tejasswi is good too.

Overall, it's a film that celebrates the power of relationships to transport, inspire, and connect us. It's a film that will stay with you long after you've watched it, and is a must-see for anyone who loves the art of cinema.

Good story . Well Directed movie with good Cinematography and Music. A complete package of good things
rangari_amruta18 April 2023
Story well written and Good Direction by Vihan Suryavanshi. Good Cinematography by Santosh Reddy and Very nice Background score and Music by Pankaj Padghan. Songs are well sung and Lyrics by Valay are very good.

Good acting by Karan Parab and Tejasvi Prakash .

This movie is a complete package of good things Not a single place where we can pinpoint it.

The length of the movie is also very good.

Please don't go by negative reviews.

The only negative thing I observed is the marketing strategy. The movie should have been marketed at a grand scale as it was Rohit Shetty's first Marathi Production .

Due to less marketing this movie reached to lesser section of people due to which people didn't go to theaters Just want to say This is a cinema experience movie don't wait for OTT release Everyone should watch this movie once. Lifetime experience.

Great story and Direction
uddeshrangari24 April 2023
I recently watched "School College ani life," and I must say, it was a delightful movie experience depicting the ups and downs of school, college and love life, and their journey towards finding their true passions in life. The movie's storyline is engaging and relatable, especially for young adults who are navigating their way through the challenges of school and college. The characters are well-developed, and their struggles are realistically portrayed, making it easy for the audience to connect with them.

The film's direction is noteworthy, with the director skillfully balancing humor, drama, and emotions throughout the movie. The music and songs are also a highlight of the film, adding to the overall charm and appeal of the story.

movie will take you on a nostalgic ride
avinasharma-1247924 April 2023
One of most beautifully made movies I have watched in recent times. A movie which covers a journey of a kid Nirvaan from his boyhood to adulthood. Every character in the movie has its own charm. Nirvaan's schooldays are the most adorable and his college days are enjoyable with love life and friends. Director has worked his charm on entry of important characters especially on indu (tesjasswi prakash) entry. Jitendra Joshi ji is spine of the movie with his love and affection for Nirvaan. School college ani life will take you on a rollar coster ride of emotions with all it has to offer. I wish if the director could come up with a movie on school life of kids to live my school life again.

A Movie Relatable to Everyone. Must Watch
cats-6303324 April 2023
The Most Realistic Movie Made By Rohit Shetty.

Simple But Relatable Story to All Ages. Written and Directed by Vihan Suryavanshi. Mesmerizing Cinematography by Santosh Reddy. Realistic Acting By Jitendra Joshi,Karan Parab And Tejasswi Prakash and all actor/actress in supporting roles. Soulful Music Composed By Pankajj Padghan.

As the writer said it's the Love Story of a lifetime, indeed it is; but in my perspective it was not about Nirvan and Indu but about Bond of Love between Nirav and Sheikh Chaha that touches us in a different way.

Everyone needs a Sheikh Chaha in their life.

Must Watch.

Boring movie but good cinematography
EliasDaCunha18 April 2023
Really wonderful cinematography and locations in the movie. Performances of Tejaswi, Jitendra Joshi were good. Even the hero was ok. But they were wasted due to poor story, screenplay and direction. The film was strictly average in terms of its story and execution. Except Rang Bahara song, the music was also a big let down. Background music was decent enough though but doesnt do anything to keep you hooked to screen. The film lacks entertainment value as it is not an engaging film due to its inconsistent narrative and less appeal with masses and that is precisely why it has miserably failed at the ticket windows. Films like Duniyadari, Classmates, Shala etc have similar stories so there was nothing novel about this story.

Decent performances backed by weak plot
VishalForCinema21 April 2023
The film is not upto the mark. Expectations were sky high but the film was a let down in its writing and direction. Karan, Tejasswi and Jitendra Joshi sir have performed very well but those performances are of no use when the story itself is poor. To my surprise even Music was poor. Must listen to the songs of Maharashtra Shaheer. Thats what you call masterpiece music! This film shouldve had strong music. Background music is decent to good. Cinematography is quite nice. Good locations. Good art direction too. But as always, writing has been poor in Marathi films for last two to three years and i expected a better story from this film but sadly, i came out disappointed. Im giving 2 stars only for performance of actors.

Waste of time, money and resources
Inforgoodcontent18 April 2023
There is simply nothing new about this movie. We have already seen movies like this in past. Waste of time, no entertainment value at all. Too slow movie which gets boring after a while. Only decent performance was of Jitendra Joshi. He's a fantastic actor and he should think twice before taking up such atrocious movies. The hero and director have already given a movie before which was a disaster. Even that was a very slow movie. This one is also a disaster and this one is also a slow movie. I hope producers think twice before signing them. Audience want entertainment in theatre and not sleep.

Couldve been better
pranaywaghmare2221 April 2023
Not a very bad film but not a very good film also. Ok ok type movie it is. It tries to make you feel emotional about life but i felt the whole thing itself was too childish. Not an impressive plot. Infact it did not have story at all. That is why it got boring after a point. Last 35 to 40 minutes the movie was going at snail's pace. Too tooooo slow!

Performance of tejaswi, karan, jitendra and other cast was good. But they were wasted.

The music also did not create strong impact. The two songs bawre mann and one other track was sounding besura. Singer ko atleast thik se tune kar dete. Lyrics were also routine.

Overall i felt i wanted more. Something was missing in the film and it couldve been better.

Not an entertaining movie
Sanjayformovies23 April 2023
It is actually useless to make a film if it does not have a powerful story. This film has a very confusing story, screenplay and direction. It is restricted to a very limited audience who thinks this is what cinema is all about. General audience watches films in theatres for entertainment, entertainment and entertainment and are not interested in all the gyaan that people give through cinema. Thats what i missed about this film. It doesnt entertain at all. Infact it gets boring after a point. Especially towards the end. I love watching marathi films and most of the successful ones have strong entertainment value alongwith good content...like Ventilator, Elizabeth ekadashi, Sairaat etc. This film too i expected the same after a long time but i feel sad to see such mediocre films coming out from marathi cinema nowadays.

Best movie to watch
znmtrsp18 June 2023
The film artfully intertwines three main storylines, each representing a different phase. It skillfully portrays the joys, challenges, and transformative moments that students encounter in their educational pursuits. The script is thoughtfully written, with realistic dialogue and well-developed characters that the audience can easily connect with.

The cinematography and visuals in "School, College, and Life" are visually stunning, capturing the vibrant energy of school corridors, the bustling college campuses, and the ever-changing landscapes of life. The film's soundtrack complements the narrative perfectly, enhancing the emotions and heightening the viewing experience.

One of the film's strengths lies in its ability to evoke a range of emotions. It adeptly balances moments of humor, nostalgia, and reflection, making the audience laugh, reminisce, and even shed a tear or two. The performances by the cast are commendable, with each actor bringing depth and authenticity to their respective roles.

"School, College, and Life" not only showcases the academic aspects but also delves into the personal lives of the characters, highlighting the relationships, friendships, and personal growth that occur during these formative years. The film skillfully portrays the struggles, aspirations, and triumphs of the characters, resonating with viewers of all ages.

While the film predominantly focuses on the positive aspects of education and personal development, it also touches upon the challenges and obstacles that students face. It encourages self-reflection and prompts viewers to contemplate their own educational journeys and life choices.

Overall, "School, College, and Life" is a heartwarming and thought-provoking movie that celebrates the transformative power of education and personal growth. It successfully captures the essence of these phases, leaving the audience with a renewed appreciation for their own educational experiences and the lessons learned along the way.
