Our youth group is attending CIY MOVE 2023 and watched this movie this evening. The shock that our teenagers felt regarding the extent a father would go to to silence his son who was sharing the Gospel in his tribe extended into our small group time as they asked questions about the reality of that situation.
We talked about four characters struggle each with a different aspect of our walk in faith... forgiveness of a wrong doing, mending a damaged relationship, surrendering our personal will to God's, and yielding our life to Christ.
Our teens and adults were moved and challenged by this TRUE story.
I encourage other youth groups to take time to screen this film.
