At an upscale Care Facility, in a beautiful garden, GEORGE, once a professional athlete, now a wheelchair-bound elderly man having a very bad day, takes out his frustration and anger on DOROTHY, his frail, yet always positive friend. George and Dorothy talk about anger, disillusionment, self-worth, death and life... the things we all experience, yet not one of us will ever fully understand. The spirited conversation reminds George of a memorable experience he had 40 years before. Jogging up a hill in his old neighborhood, he saw a MOTHER and BABY playing with echoes in an empty mailbox. For a beautiful moment, George experienced an overwhelming joy, understanding everything at once. Echoes of Life? Succeeding at opening George up a bit, Dorothy tells him, "Remember you're beautiful moment, George. Choose to love." George becomes vulnerable, breaking down as Dorothy comforts him.
