Emilia Clarke is effortlessly one of the most beloved actresses in Hollywood, with her acting chops, beauty, wit, and personality — all leaving her audiences truly stunned. Among all the roles she has donned to date across multiple genres, her most acclaimed performance still remains her iconic portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, which also gifted her most of her fame.
Emilia Clarke in Secret Invasion.
However, even after achieving that impeccable feat through the novels-based television series, Clarke was quite a bit dissatisfied with it for a peculiar reason. And, surprisingly enough, this reason wasn’t related to the controversial ending of the series — which notably saw her character getting murdered at the hands of her very own lover, Jon Snow — but for another reason entirely.

There are some more changes at Netflix, and yes, the streamer is asking subscribers to part with some more money.
Netflix announced Wednesday some changes to two of its most popular plans.
What Will Netflix Cost After New Price Rises?
The streaming service's most expensive plan, Premium, will increase from $19.99 to $22.99 monthly.
The primary, advertising-free plan will surge from $9.99 to $11.99 monthly.
Two of the four services offered by the home of Stranger Things will remain the same.

Drake certainly made the delayed kick-off of his “It’s All A Blur Tour” (get tickets here) with 21 Savage a memorable one. Besides at one point performing with a visual of sperm cells floating above the stage, he opened their June 5th show at Chicago’s United Center with “Look What You’ve Done,” his first time playing the Take Care cut in over a decade.
The Toronto rapper performed it while seated on a couch next to a kid resembling his younger self. Some reports are claiming the kid was a hologram, but video has surfaced of him handing Drake a notebook, so that would be quite the feat. Watch footage of the floating sperm and Drake performing “Look What You’ve Done” below.

It’s a slow year for hip-hop so far, especially on the charts. Big names like J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, and Jay-Z haven’t released new music in 2023, other icons like Nicki Minaj seem to be prepping for Q4 releases, and so far there’s just not been a lot of hip-hop topping the charts. In fact, no number-one song this year has been by a hip-hop artist. Even worse, there has not even been a number-one album by a rapper this year either, with releases from high-profile names like Gunna and Lil Durk failing to reach the top spot. The silver lining is that a weak year for rap overall means that the Grammys’ rap categories might be more fun than ever, with no boring sweeps or predictably locked categories in sight.

On Tuesday, Billboard published a piece speculating on why hip-hop hasn’t had a Number One album or single within the first half of 2023. The report set off a flurry of chatter from industry observers and rap fans drawing their own conclusions as to what the answer might be. Is the dearth of rap hits this year a matter of market share, artist deaths, incarceration, or stagnant charts?
Most people who think the occurrence is no big deal are chalking it up to a lack of releases by major rap stars.

“The phrase ‘Rest in Peace’ means absolutely nothing, unfortunately, when it comes to Anna Nicole Smith.” So says a news anchor in a clip from not long after Anna Nicole Smith’s death by overdose at 39. And though Netflix’s Anna Nicole Smith: You Don’t Know Me does not make clear which of the many rumors and legal battles the reporter might be commenting on, the existence of this very documentary would seem to prove her point.
Sixteen years after her passing, we still cannot look away from this model turned punchline. Her life and death have been the subject of an opera and a TV movie, with a feature film reportedly on the way. Her iconic Guess photoshoot was resurrected for a 2021 ad campaign (with the rather creepy slogan “Did you miss me?”). Not all the attention is nefarious. Mama June’s eldest daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell has reportedly been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Family sources confirmed the sad news to TMZ this week following the 28-year-old’s adrenal carcinoma diagnosis in January.
The site stated Cardwell had been suffering from stomach aches before tests revealed the cancer had spread to her liver, kidney and lung.
Cardwell was said to have undergone her first round of chemotherapy last month, and doctors are reportedly now waiting to see how she reacts before they decide what to do treatment-wise next.
Her family have been on hand to support her and her two kids — Kaitlyn, 10, and Kylee, 7 — with them being “very hopeful” she’ll pull through, TMZ added.

US rapper J Cole revealed the ridiculously young age he started smoking in a new interview.
The “No Role Modelz” star discussed the habit on Tuesday’s (21 March) episode of the “Lead by Example With Bob Myers” podcast, hosted by the president and general manager of the Golden State Warriors NBA team.
“At 6 years old, I was smoking cigarettes regularly around the neighbourhood,” Cole, who grew up in North Carolina, told Myers.
“I was always hanging around the older kids in the neighbourhood that [my older brother, Zach] was hanging around and they were smoking. And I was young and fearless and trying to be cool.”
“So, it was like, ‘Oh, y’all smoking. Let me see that.’ And, of course, we’re all out there [with] young parents, long leashes. Not that [my mom] knew I was doing this,” Cole continued.
The now-38-year-old said he was busted when his older brother caught him smoking and...
