Laura Conroy is struggling with her young daughter, Eliza, a troubled and disruptive child, and with her husband Rob away, she befriends the gorgeous Emily, who has a nack of making things better.
It's a pretty good first episode, you never quite know what you're going to get with Channel Five, at one end of the scale you have Dalgliesh, at the other you have Anne Boleyn, this seems to be somewhere in the middle.
Plenty of questions come out of this first episode, who's sins are in question, those of Laura or Emily?
I'm a big fan of Jo Joyner's, she's a smashing actress, she leads this series very well.
I've got to be honest, I'm sold whenever I see the wonderful, brilliant Ansu Kabia appear, I'm not sure what part Tom will have to play, but this guy just has it.
6/10.
