That’s why here we have 5 more K-dramas that give off just the same vibe and are a must watch.
1. Beyond Evil (2021)

Beyond Evil (2021)
When the quiet life of the town is shattered by the serial killer, two detectives do their best to catch him and stop the murders. Vigilante is an action-thriller K-Drama directed by Moon Yoo-seok. The Disney+ series is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name by Kim Gyu-sam and it revolves around a young police academy student who becomes a vigilante and kills criminals at night, who don’t change their ways even after being punished by the law. Vigilante stars Nam Joo-hyuk, Yoo Ji-tae, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Kim So-jin. So, if you loved the Disney+ series here are some similar shows you could watch next.

It seems like Disney+ has picked a pattern for the kind of K-dramas they want to air: violent and action-packed. The Ott platform has recently had some gems like Moving and Worst of Evil, which are highly successful with big names and great plots. Vigilante seems to be in a similar category of “webtoon adaptations” or something to do with law enforcement. Earlier, The Killing Vote had a similar storyline, but with no buzz, the show didn’t do very well. This kind of storyline is quite overdone in the K-drama world, but somehow people continue to make them. Hopefully, the Nam Joo-Hyuk starrer will be entertaining and do well. The first two episodes are nothing new, and if it continues this way, there’ll be nothing exciting about the show except the lead’s performances.

The Killing Vote addresses some taboo subjects like child Sa and bribery in the Korean legal system. It’s an intriguing show with a very fast-paced and thrilling plot that thickens by the second. The series follows a detective who is the scapegoat of the police department as he’s left to do the dirty work. He is accompanied by a cop from the cyber department who was outed for being a whistleblower by the media. They are the most eligible team to fight against The Killing Vote, which is an act of vigilantism. If they catch Gaetal, they will be hated by the public because he’s considered a man who will give commoners justice, but on the other hand, if they don’t catch him, the police department will face backlash. The show airs only one episode a week, but so much happens at once that it’s difficult to keep track!

Previously in The Killing Vote, Gaetal set up another vote about a woman who was killing her husbands to commit insurance fraud. But, more importantly, she was hurting their children, too, because it would give her more insurance money. This is what made the masked man really furious, and he decided on her as his next target. As expected, the vote is positive for killing her, and Gaetal places her in a car with a time bomb in it. In an effort to save her, Mu-Chan gets into the car, too, and they drive off into the school premises because there’s a field where they can put some distance between them and other civilians. Ultimately, everyone sees the car blow up and assumes Mu-Chan has been injured or worse. Joo Hyun is the person who is closest to the car when it does blow up, though, so what will she do?...

This K-drama on Prime Video, which airs only one episode per week, is exceptionally captivating and leaves us with many questions every Thursday. Episode 2 of The Killing Vote was rather confusing, but at least we have a new nickname for the masked vigilante that is not Korea’s Batman. The special investigation team is now determined to catch the killer because their jobs depend on this discovery. On one hand, we have Kwon Seok-Joo in prison, and on the other, Joo Hyun believes he may be behind the mask because of a few words said by the masked man. Is she right about her suspicion, or is this just a coincidence? Let’s find out in the latest episode of The Killing Vote.

The new Korean drama The Killing Vote on Prime Video is a fascinating new thriller series that explores Korea’s idea of justice by using a vigilante that shares a question with the whole nation in order to take action on their behalf. The show stars Park Hae-Jin, Park Sung-Woong, and everyone’s new favorite, Lim Ji-Yeon (although she played a villain in her last). A lot happens in the first episode, as is common in the Hallyu world, and we can’t wait to see what happens next. The episode is extremely quick-paced, and it’s so great to see Ji-Yeon with this new fun and non-nonsense attitude in this drama. Let’s get straight into The Killing Vote.

Amazon-owned Prime Video has launched “The Killing Vote,” a hardboiled crime drama series from Korea.
The 12-part show uses the premise that a text message is sent to ordinary citizens who get to vote for or against the application of the death penalty in individual criminal cases. If more than 50% vote in favor, the criminal is killed by a mysterious character called Dog Mask.
That in turn creates difficult choices for police officers. They may have differing views on whether such rough justice is justified or not and are also tasked with tracking down Dog Mask.
The show stars Park Hae-jin as a detective character who is immediately caught in the dilemma, but with career advancement his priority, his position may be swayed over time.
Park Sung-woong portrays a legal scholar whose views are also ambiguous, but who turned himself in and finds himself in prison after killing the rapist who attacked his daughter.
