The team continue to hunt for the arsonist, but now have to investigate the body discovered at the dig, all under the watchful eye of visiting Officer Lee Chen, who's part of The Efficiency Project.

The way that these six part dramas usually work, is that the penultimate episode should be the big one, it should be the one that hooks you, leaving you desperate to see the conclusion. Once again, third gear, this fourth series has been watchable, but no more than that.

I think, this has actually been the weakest episode so far, and that's a real shame, with this cast, it should have been so much better.

Maddy's story, through interesting, relevant and very well acted just doesn't sit right, it jars with the actual mystery, it's too soap opera for a crime drama series.

The focus on the main crime has slipped away, and it's getting to the point now where whoever started that fire has become almost like a tertiary focus.

Talk about dysfunctional families, doesn't anyone have any sort of normality in their family lives?

Ian Puleston-Davies has been criminally underused here.

Weaker episode.

5/10.
