Episode two is a little slow, but there are moments of interest.

Unable to find comfort with one another, and homeless, The Metcalf family are supported and helped by the local community. The Police start surfing into the family's private lives, all was not as great beneath the surface.

A solid follow up episode, I can't honestly say I was blown away or gripped, it verged in melodrama at times, but there was some intrigue. Why was Beth seeing a marriage guidance councillor and saving! Was she planning to escape?

Erin's story with her new boyfriend is interesting, that's ab angle in sure they're going to develop, he's going to be no good.

That scene where Dean goes to the bank and tries to close the account was very realistic, having been in that situation, and having had to close an account, it really is torturous.

Who's Len Reid, the loan shark? He sounds like he's going to be an interesting addition to the story.

Joe Armstrong is stealing the show so far, I also think the youngsters have been great. Ian Puleston-Davies surely has a bigger part to play soon I hope, why have such a good actor in a bit part, there's more to come there.

6/10.
