The third installment of the successful comedy franchise Fukrey struggles to retain the charm of Fukrey (2013) and Fukrey Returns (2017) and hasn't been able to live up to the expectations. Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's direction was average and he was not able to deliver a compelling slapstick comedy this time due to its thin plot and mediocre writing.

The first half of the film starts off well and it has some entertaining moments that give several occasions of laughter. But the second half becomes a victim of lazy writing and it is comparatively less on humour & the witty one-liners rarely land. Then the story goes off-track and tries to showcase a serious issue of water supply in Delhi and also it has a disappointing climax too. After a point, the screenplay won't be able to hold viewers and humour also gets repetitive.

Varun Sharma in his tailor-made role as Choochaa and Pankaj Tripathi as Pandit ji delivers an entertaining performance. Both the actors keep the audience engaged with their impeccable comic timing. Pulkit Samrat and Manjot Singh were decent in their roles. Richa Chadha shines again as Bholi Punjaban and gave a good performance. All other supporting actors were just fine in their respective roles.

Direction 2.5/5 Acting 3/5 Dialogues 3/5 Story 2/5 Screenplay 2/5.

A good story and great actors mix wasted for the lack of proper execution
userpagla30 September 2023
The movie will seem a bit haphazardly compiled from 2nd quarter. Flashback scenes take a lot of screentime. Whereas main story don't get enough time to have a proper buildup.

What seemed to me is, unlike many other poor performing sequel movies, Fukrey 3 did not lack a good story. Instead it lacked dialogue, direction and finally editing.

Actors acted perfectly according to direction. But an opportunity wasted by the director, since it's directors job to make and implement the whole masterpiece plan.

Pros: Funny scenes to make you giggle still exists because of Varun, Pulkit, Manjot and Pankaj ji and they are some genuine fun parts of the movie. So, to me this movie is not a 1 or 2. It gets a solid 3 out of 5.

Sketch comedy bundled
Rajit_thebingewatcher30 September 2023
If you're in the mood for sketch comedies, slapstick humor, and punchlines, whether great or average, tied together by a weak storyline, "Fukre 3" is perfect for you. It picks up from where it left off and continues to deliver punch after punch, to the extent that you might question the actual script of the movie at times. The film heavily relies on Chucha, and Varun strikes the perfect balance between his innocence and foolishness, portraying his character flawlessly. Pandit ji's role is in the safe hands of Pankaj Tripathi, and Lali's dialogues and chemistry between Chucha is beautifully written/shown. However, apart from these three characters, the others are forgettable. Watch it if you don't want to strain your brain too much and just want a good laugh.

Fun unlimited
kainatrc26 November 2023
This movie Fukrey 3 is not better than Fukrey 1 and Fukrey2 but definitely not a bad movie. Its full of fun and entertainment right from beginning till end. It has sprinkled little salt of patriotism for the audience and it worked very well. Movie tasted better. I personally think that when we start watching movie whether it's at home or theatre our main purpose is to get entertained and the time we invest in any movie should make us feel happy and light. Thus if we ignore to find any practical logic in this movie we can feel completely entertained. Complete family entertainer and the sense of humor is absolutely amazing. I loved it completely. Its streaming of amazonPrime,do give it a try, I am sure you won't regret investing your precious time.

Spoiler all characters bad jokes
ashish669930 September 2023
Can't make you laugh. You wait till the end of movie and it doesn't come. Conclusion: "Drenched in Regret" is a perfect example of how not to make a film. Its lackluster storyline, poor acting, and failed attempts at humor leave audiences feeling like they've been caught in a never-ending rainstorm of disappointment. Perhaps it's best to leave this movie shipwrecked and seek out something that won't make you regret spending your time and money on it.am left with no choice but to give it a dismal 1-star rating. The poor story, abysmal acting, and unfunny jokes all contribute to this sinking ship of a movie.

Pathetic Jokes
amitkray29 September 2023
The standard of comic movies is going downwards each day. Non veg jokes without any significance included where it was actually not required. I didn't like most of the scenes in 2nd half although first half atleast some. Choocha as usual tries to entertain using his third grade jokes, Lali with same humourless humour and Hunny as usual like taste of water in any curry. Pankaj Tripathi I can say is an actor whichever film he works gives his best and has a unique aura. Best suited for comic films. Richa was over acting most of the time trying to forcefully act as a punjaban kudi. Overall the film is good to watch when you are tired and need AC room to sleep.

Can do better
rohitdagrst1 October 2023
There has been ages that a comedy Bollywood has released in 2023. So fukrey 3 becomes the first choice to watch.

This is a good movie with can do better rating. There are a lot of fun moments and you don't get bored at any point of time. The story is not predictable and ends with a good message. Absence of songs don't interrupt the flow of the movie.

However, the characters and the subplot were half baked and were left to "don't think too much" and connecting dots has been loosely done.

The chemistry of the fab 4 continues to be the best part of the movie. Fukrey 4 definitely needs to be made.

A good watch.

Avoid it - killed Fukrey franchise
vv_ajay-242-6325128 September 2023
Utter garbage it is. Not anywhere close the first two parts. It's very disgusting at most part of movie as it's all around susu, potty, G dhona, toilet water and what not (Literally). This one has no story, and goes here and there haywire. Too loud in some parts.

F3 won't match the expectations you would have. There is no glamour the first two had. There are some extremely boring and stretched parts, which shouldn't be there. Don't know about the writers but doesn't seem to be one who wrote first parts. Actors did all they could but the storyline was bad.

Assumptions that people will laugh and enjoy at anything movie makers would throw is not correct.

Avoid it !

Why so much Negative Ratings over Internet ? It's a decent One time watch for sure!
nitishkumarmohanta28 February 2024
Fukrey 1 was the best among whole franchise with it's refreshing storyline, amazing music, wonderful situational comedies and of course with less known new faces back in 2013. Fukrey Returns (the part 2) came up with all of expectation and continued it's previous storyline exactly same But here with Fukrey 3 makers came up with their lazy instincts according to today's time and peoples expectations from a big comedy franchise. Movie is pretty average and storyline feels little bit dull of course. The same old Music used here which was not that much impactful yet feels nostalgia. Introduction of new songs were average of course.

The Acting performances of all the characters were Good especially our own CHOOCHA, he nailed his role once again and the strong point of the whole franchise. His way of talking, comic timing, facial expressions and silly situational comedies are best among all. The 2nd best performer was Pandit ji, which is Pankaj Tripathi of course. He got a good amount of screen time in this and performed so well. Bholi Punjaban,Lali they also did their parts decently BUT here comes the main drawback in Acting Performances i.e. "Pulkit Samrat"- He got very less importance in this whole storyline. His character is not same like other parts, here his character is just like a supporting character of CHOOCHA to decode his Zigsaw Puzzles. The Villain also disappointed a bit here in this part. He acted like Gruesome individual with nothing to do in the plot. Although the Social Message provided by the makers was good, still this movie lacked in various department.

The Screenplay is fast and I don't have any complaint regarding it's length because I personally loved to see these characters in big screen. The background scores are funky and enjoyable according to it's situations. The locations were good of course but they wasted a huge opportunity to showcase South Africa in details. I mean that South African tour was just wasted here with here and there actions with no proper executions. The Climax was also below average but the way they introduced something in Post credit scene was, definitely a Cheers! For FUKREY FANS just like me.

Overall a complete Family Movie which can be watchable at least for once. But mind you ; don't expect to be a better one then it's previous installments. So yeah I will go with 6 out of 10 Stars from my side as I liked this movie.

A franchise killer.
sk-21662-282912 October 2023
Pankaj tripathy was the only good thing about the movie. The jokes are poorly written and the script is weak which just seems pointless after a while. Its a sheer waste of time and the. Don't think imdb is reliable anymore, with such high ratings for such a film. It's a classic franchise killer. They should've stuck with the original writers from the first two parts which it seems they did not. Feels like I would need to rewatch the first two parts again now, just to protect the memory of the first two parts in my mind. Rest if you have a couple of hundred bucks, or more, to kill and want to increase your appreciation for the classic priyadarshan films, do go and watch it :)

Total paisa wasool entertainer
ramannsingh28 September 2023
Fukrey 3 is a hilarious joyride that keeps you laughing throughout. The gang of Choocha, Hunny, Lali, and friends are back, and their antics are side-splitting. The plot takes unexpected turns, and you can't predict what's coming next.

The best part is that the humor feels so natural, like it's part of our daily lives. The actors do a fantastic job, and their chemistry is spot-on.

So, if you're in the mood for some genuine laughs and a memorable time with this beloved gang, Fukrey 3 is a must-watch.

All actors did a very good job by their performance in this the movie, So I must this movie is so entertaining.

Fukrey 3 Is A Choo (cha) Entertainer!
SAMTHEBESTEST28 September 2023
Fukrey 3 (2023) : Movie Review -

After back-to-back successful Fukrey movies, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba brings the third one with the same cast (minus one or two, as per your convenience). Bollywood has this bad habit of making sequels just to make money. A film is a hit; they want to make a franchise; they want to make a sequel, even if it's by chance. They don't care about the product's standard at all, and that also depends on how much money the film makes. Even they are not wrong from a business point of view because it's the public who decides the verdict. They will keep making craps until people keep coming to cinemas to watch them. That's a natural process in the industry. Anyways, I had to do my job as a movie critic, just as the team did by making a movie, and audiences will do so by deciding the fate of the movie. Fukrey 1 was a decent entertainer; then it turned into a forced mediocre comedy with Fukrey Returns, and now the mediocre franchise has become cheap with Fukrey 3.

There is no story in Fukrey 3, but let's just talk about whatever is there in brief. Right after a 4-5 minute long boring recap, the film starts with Choocha (Varun Sharma), Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Lali (Manjot Singh), and Panditji (Pankaj Tripathi) trying to make their living out of a flop electronic shop. Bholi Punjaban (Richa Chadha) is campaigning for the elections, and she calls for the Fukreys' support. During her election campaign, Choocha becomes more popular than Bholi, and Hunny cooks up the idea of making Choocha an MLA and then a minister. Knowing that Choocha would be a threat to her political career, the smart Punjaban plans to send the four fukreys to Africa to find a diamond through their famous "Deja Choo" process. In Africa, the gang learns about Bholi's plans and is set to run back to India, but just before that, God's magic strikes upon them. Choocha and Hunny can now create a hydrocarbon liquid, aka petrol, together, which will make them millionaires. But are things that simple for them against Bholi Punjaban and a new male antagonist? Catch all the fun in the movie.

Vipul Vig has written one of the worst and most illogical scripts for a comedy in recent times. Fukrey 3 doesn't make any sense, and that's alright too, but it forces you to scratch your head and eat your teeth at least a dozen times in the long runtime of approx. 145 minutes. If that's not enough, then you have a terrible screenplay to torture you to death. I can understand the current air that we are not making good/decent comedies nowadays, but this is damn critical. Moreover, it has become so cheap that if I have to review and slam all the scenes here, then I think Google will remove my review due to offensive language. Why didn't they burn this trashy script with that urinated petrol while filming it? Fukrey 3 is an exhausting watch, with several moments testing your patience. A simple visit can turn into a political movement; a group can easily smuggle a diamond all the way from Africa; a reporter can easily jump into a politician's vehicle and ask the question and even set up a debate; a school principal can only scratch his head looking at his students blabbering anything about the school in front of other students; a mobile video can create a hysteria across the town, but the same people couldn't find the whereabouts of the same person for days; and how all of sudden a petrol deal can create a zero-day situation, as if all the ministers are on holidays. That marriage sequence was so terrible, almost at a B-grade level. I can just go on like this and end up writing a better script than Fukrey 3, just by bashing. Where was the laugh, by the way? Calling it a good comedy would make me laugh, though.

Fukrey 3 isn't a performance-oriented movie, so I am not quite sure how to review the performance when actors were not acting and just trying to rehearse for a spoof. Pulkit Samrat is probably the most sensible character, and with good looks and physics, he is pretty watchable. Varun Sharma is more of a child stand-up comedian than a mature actor as far as Fukrey 3 is concerned. His accent is getting worse day by day, I tell you, and if he doesn't stop it soon, then it's game over. Richa Chadha looked hot and dashing in Fukrey (2013), but it's not the same anymore. We all know actresses' glamour has a shorter lifespan on the screen, and it's been 10 years since that attractive Bholi Punjaban. The makers didn't know, I guess. Pankaj Tripathi in 2013, and Pankaj Tripathi in 2023-a lot has changed, and for good. Pankaj sir has done a decent job, which is below par for his standards, but unfortunately he's got some horrible dialogues. Manjot Singh is getting typecast, I feel. But it isn't a problem as long as he isn't going to lose his temperament. The supporting cast is nothing short of jokers from a vanished circuit, but even after that, some of them end up giving better expressions than the main cast members.

Fukrey and Fukrey Returns had good music, and we all hum those songs even today. Forget humming; can we find a single good song in F3? The answer is a big NO. The lyrics and background score are disappointing too. The cinematography is pretty okay, while the editing is at an all-time low for the franchise. If you don't have a good script to make a good film, then why waste the audience's time? Better wrap the trash soon and let us go home sooner. Mrighdeep Singh Lamba must have had a nightmare after reading F3's script. I think he never got over that. Such a big mess, and how carelessly has it been presented? Only someone who is still under the shock of a nightmare could have done that. What annoys you more is the below-the-belt treatment of the characters. Every single character and every single conflict has the same issue: it either wants to be dead or vulgarly funny. Believe me, it doesn't work in either case; rather, it frustrates you in both cases. There is a lot to say, but why waste good words on a bad product? To wrap it up in one line, Fukrey 3 is a Choo (cha) entertainer-IYKWIM. If they can use cheap words under the pretence of a comedy, why can't reviewers use the same against them?

RATING - 4/10*

Spoiling great legacy of Fukrey
sbhatia-4683925 November 2023
Don't know what director producer are trying to achieving by spoiling the legacy of great 1st instalment of Fukrey. Fukrey returns was bad and here Fukrey 3 is worse. No good punch lines, no laughable jokes. It's a forced movie. Pulkit Samrat looks too tired and disinterested in movie. Pankaj Tripathi and Varun Sharma did their best but the script is so weak that they too can't save the film. It's completely illogical movie.

This is clearly to be avoided as its waste of time. Instead of watching Fukrey3 I recommend watch Fukrey again to make your time worthy and have good laugh again.

And I hope there is no further instalment.

Painful boring movie
gameofthrones-522602 October 2023
I recently had the misfortune of watching fukrey 3 a comedy movie that left me utterly unimpressed. This film, which shall remain nameless, promised laughs and hilarity but delivered neither. The level of humor was so low that it felt like a never-ending uphill climb to find even a chuckle.

The plot seemed promising on paper, with a cast of talented actors, but it quickly became apparent that the script lacked wit and originality. The jokes were tired and predictable, relying on tired stereotypes and worn-out gags that have been done to death in countless other comedies.

The pacing of the film was excruciatingly slow, making even its relatively short runtime feel like an eternity. There were moments when I found myself checking my watch, hoping that the next scene would inject some much-needed energy into the story, but alas, that moment never arrived.

Disappointing Sequel
vishankparikh12 November 2023
I recently watched "Fukrey 3," and I must say it was a major letdown. The film fails to capture the charm and humor of its predecessors. The storyline feels forced and lacks the freshness that made the first two movies enjoyable.

The characters, which were once quirky and endearing, now come across as caricatures of their former selves. The attempts at humor fall flat, and the dialogues seem forced, missing the mark on delivering genuine laughs. It's disappointing to see a franchise that started with promise and wit devolve into a mere attempt at cashing in on its previous success.

The plot is convoluted and struggles to maintain the audience's interest. The new elements introduced feel unnecessary and add more confusion than substance to the narrative. It's as if the writers couldn't decide on a direction and opted for a mishmash of random events.

Additionally, the pacing of the movie is inconsistent, with some scenes dragging on while others feel rushed. The lack of cohesion in storytelling leaves the audience disconnected from the characters' journeys, making it challenging to invest in the outcome.

Overall, "Fukrey 3" fails to live up to the expectations set by its predecessors. It's a regrettable addition to the franchise that tarnishes the fond memories created by the earlier films. I would strongly advise fans of the series to manage their expectations before diving into this lackluster installment.

Worth a Watch 👍
sji-8052728 September 2023
Watched Fukrey 3. It continues the legacy of the franchise with an uproarious and madcap adventure that will have you in splits from start to finish. The lovable gang of Hunny, Choocha, and Lali is back with their signature brand of comedy, and their chemistry remains as electric as ever. Varun Sharma's Choocha is an absolute scene-stealer with his impeccable comic timing, while Pulkit Samrat's Hunny balances his goofiness with charm. The plot is a rollercoaster of harebrained schemes and unexpected twists, taking our heroes on a journey filled with laughter and unexpected heartwarming moments. Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba masterfully keeps the pace brisk, and the witty dialogues and clever wordplay keep the humor fresh and engaging. While the story occasionally ventures into the realm of the absurd, it's all part of the fun in this delightful world. "Fukrey 3" is not just a comedy; it's a celebration of friendship, resilience, and the pursuit of dreams, all wrapped in a package of riotous laughter. If you're a fan of the Fukrey series, this installment will not disappoint, and if you're new to their antics, be prepared for a side-splitting, feel-good cinematic experience that's a must-watch.

2nd half spoiled the movie
sameerlodaya1 October 2023
Sameer lodaya

What a movie was fukrey 1 followed by the 2nd was also good but the third did not match the level of fukrey

The content has no play in this movie as we all know we doesn't have to apply our minds while watching fukrey..the first half was bearable and had the hope that 2nd will be more better but it was worst..the movie suddenly left the charm because of long and creepy scenes some content was really yuks I don't know how they got the idea to entertain people with human waste

Chocha was same as before and maintained his madness with Pulkit, the legend pankajji ,Richa and Manjot all played very similar characters like they played before

It is very difficult to make sequels of a hit movie as people expect a lot and so we can expect fukrey 4 comes back with a bang

Regrets for low ratings.

In a one simple word RIDICULOUS
rehmankhilji18 November 2023
The movie had a moderately successful run in theaters, with an average rating of around 7 on IMDb. However, this seems quite perplexing and utterly ridiculous.

There are certain movies that should refrain from having sequels. Let the first one stand alone and become a cult classic.

Now, let's analyze the characters in the movie:

Pulkit Samrat, the actor, holds some fame under his belt, but nothing more. His performance is simply devoid of any sense.

Varun Sharma is the sole individual carrying the entire movie on his shoulders, albeit with some poorly delivered punchlines.

Manjot Singh, the actor, appears entirely unnecessary throughout the entire film.

Pankaj Tripathi, replacing Ali Fazal, delivers some terribly forced and bad punchlines, attempting humor but ending up as completely ridiculous.

In essence, the movie is devoid of any meaningful humor or storyline. Watching it was nothing short of torture.

P. S. A special thanks to Ali Fazal for wisely choosing not to be a part of this cinematic disaster.

DO NOT WATCH
mital-172625 December 2023
I am sooo disappointed by this movie. It's breaking my heart to write this review considering how much i loved the first Fukrey.

As much as i loved Fukrey 1, i hated this one equally or probably more.

The Jokes didn't land, story didn't make sense, and acting was so pathetic as if it was everyone's first acting job.

What went wrong guys? I am not going to sit here and point fingers at their acting because they did act well in other movies, but this fell flat as a straight line. Direction, story line, timing, everything fell flat.

Believe me there isn't one joke that will make you laugh, so avoid if you can!
