“Revenge never dies” in Dead West, the new film from writer/director Jeff Ferrell. And with the road trip revenge thriller coming out on DVD via Rlj Entertainment this Tuesday, we caught up with Ferrell for our latest Q&A feature. The film follows Blanton’s character on the night of her high school graduation after her iPhone is stolen and tracked down with a “find my iPhone” app to a house where the demented tenants plan on kidnapping her and making her part of the family. Alex Shaffer (Win Win) and James Landry Hébert (Two Step, Gangster Squad) are also on board to star.

Brain Damage Films will debut director Jeff Ferrell's Ghostlight on DVD June 3rd, 2014. This indie horror title involves a contest, a haunted theatre and several missing people. And, a $50,000 cash prize is one man's motivation to stay in this deadly location. As well, Ghostlight stars Russell Hodgkinson, Brian Sutherland and Lisa Coronado. A preview for the DVD launch is here. The film begins with a couple. Andrew (Sutherland) and Mira (Coronado) visit a haunted theatre, together. Here, they find a contest, which offers $50,000 to anyone who can stay the night. Andrew decides to risk his neck for this large prize. But, his psychically gifted wife warns him of the ghosts housed therein. Ferrell's Ghostlight will offer lots of extras on the DVD. Bonus features will include: a 75min Making-Of documentary, an audio commentary, and Jeff Ferrell's acclaimed short film "Morella." Fans can view more on the film, with the official trailer below.
