Sex & Nudity

  • Nothing explicit at all, aside from a few females wearing crop tops.

Violence & Gore

  • Since this is a Pokemon game, violence is only limited to the Pokemon battles in which Pokemon use a wide assortment of moves to combat each other. No extreme violence (dismemberments, blood) whatsoever.
  • War plays a major part of the backstory of the game, as one man talks about how an ancient war in the region led to the death of many Pokemon and humans, including one Pokemon that was very special to him. In response, he created a device to bring it back to life, but used it for a later drastic cause, wanting to use it against humans and Pokemon despair and turned the machine into a weapon, with which he destroyed both sides of the war to bring it to an end. His Pokemon later left him in disgust after knowing of his corrupt ways of using the device-turned-weapon to effectively kill thousands.
  • The leader of a group wants to use said weapon to completely eradicate the entire region of humanity and recreate the region in his own image to make it look "beautiful." He uses the power of a Legendary Pokemon to power up the device.
  • After the player defeats the leader of the group for the final time, he goes ballistic and attempts to use the weapon of what power it has left to kill the player, his/her friends, and everybody inside of the building. It fails, and the weapon is destroyed, and the leader is killed. No one mentions this however, and it is really only intuition figuring out that he is dead.

Profanity

  • Mild, aside from a few bashful comments. No vulgarity whatsoever. This is POKEMON!

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Battles may be very intense depending on how the flow of the battle goes.
  • There is a discussion of an ancient war in the game that may sadden players. Especially that during a cutscene, telling about the war, a man's Pokemon's coffin is shown, showing that it had died in the war. This is a very dark and sad moment in the game, even for a Pokemon game.
  • A leader wants to use an ancient weapon to eliminate all of humanity of the region and recreate it to be "beautiful."
  • Like all Pokemon games, this game has a ghost girl that is VERY creepy. She says "No, you're not the one..." and walks away to nowhere in particular. Younger players may be scared because of this.
