FBI:MW vs. X-Files
aaronrcoutu17 July 2023
While this episode is very entertaining, it feels very out of place among the other episodes of this show (probably why they named the episode 'Black Mirror'.

Without spoiling the episode, the plot revolves around Remy going off the rails a bit when his brother's murder is up for compassionate release at the same time two priests obsessed with the antichrist kidnap two teens. While there isn't an actual supernatural element at play, the priests are very fanatical and have a pretty gnarly plan.

I'd rate it higher if not for multiple serious breaches of protocols which get nothing more than a shrug and a pet peeve about shooting a lock to open it. That rarely works, is pretty dangerous, and there are many other ways to open a lock. (They always seem to have bolt cutters, pry bars, etc. In their SUVs except this one time?)

Dylan McDermott Shows of Acting Prowess
nightringer-7684015 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Black Mirror is the 2nd most dramatic episode from FBI Most Wanted, the first being the terrorists attack in a mall.

Dylan McDermott took charge and brought in full emotional acting, with cold face and filled with pain and anger. This was an amazing episode for the secondary spin off of FBI series. Every cast played supporting roles properly, playing understanding, confused and frustrated partners.

The insanity of the storyline helped a lot. 2 villains kidnapped and to body mutilated 2 teenagers to ahow case that the devil was real to their congregation.

And the side story of the attempt to release a prisoner due to the cancer, built a communicative ground for the fierceful emotional explosion.

By itself, this story line was not new but certainly worth it to be filmed more dramatically as a stabd alone horror suspenseful film. However, by including it in FBI Most Wanted episode delivered an impactful attention to the series and could extend the life of FBI Most Wanted to Season 5 and more.

Loved Dylan From the Beginning

Warning: Spoilers
I miss Julian but Dylan really is very daring. Julian was like the father figure but Dylan is like the big brother the team never has had.

Love the Most Wanted out of the FBI shows as it shows not just great agents but that over in human beings as FBI shows at times lack that.

Dylan's character's brother was murdered and why he joined the FBI. Now his brother's murderer is up for parole and Remy the leader, wants to keep him in prison until he rots in a cage.

The case over in this episode as two wayward pastors both brothers, kidnap two teens to decapitate them as one tries to get away but she meets a fatal end.

Now the team must now find the boy as the Remy poses as a preacher. To stop the brothers.

great episode

Warning: Spoilers
We were right there with remy and his hurry.. at least the others didnt say much second guessing his actions and his decisions.. something that happens a lot on Chicado PD..

Jay or someone else was passioante about it and the women would just try to argue with the guy, talk him down and stuff.. blablabla.. but then when it was a woman being kidnapped or abused, hailey was the one getting crazy about it could make her slow down..

anyway, I love remy's one handed style.. remembered Voight the other dude saved the boy but dude, after he stabbed the guy, he just turned his back and went to save the boy.. i was waiting for the bad guy to get up and stab him back.. well, it aint a horror movie.. so it didnt happen..

girl in the end asking remy to talk about the guy in the trial for her movie... made no sense.. why would you ask the family of a victim to talk about the guy to try to humanize him? Are you dumb?

But gave him motive to go search to see if the guy is really innocent.
