Favorite Son was released in the late 1980s but really it hasn't aged one bit. In fact it's more relevant now than ever with the volatility of politics worldwide of course.
I read Steve Sohmer's book after seeing Favorite Son, and definitely both are top class. It's a shame Favorite Son seems to have been lost amidst all the political and real-life drama in American politics here.
Harry Hamlin should have won an Emmy for his role, and Linda Kozlowski shed her Crocodile Dundee persona big time in Favorite Son.
I guess if this was screened in England then it would be called Favourite Son init.
