- Oliver shoots someone with an arrow during the intro. Oliver punches several people in his mother's office when he swings through the window as the Green Arrow. Oliver's mother shoots him with a gun when he is disguised as the Green Arrow. A few seconds later, a pool of blood is shown on the floor. Oliver has visible blood on his shoulder from a gunshot wound. Felicity comes into Oliver's lair to ask Diggle for help bringing him in. She has blood on her shirt and neck. Diggle opens a cabinet drawer with bags of blood in ice. He pulls one out to give Oliver a transfusion. Oliver trains with Slade during a flashback. They fight with knives and sticks. During a flashback, Oliver has a dream that he's with Laurel. There is a bullet wound in his forehead and blood dripping from it. Slade slashes the chests of several soldiers, killing them. No blood or wounds are visible. There are flashbacks of Oliver's torture, wherein a man sticks a sword into his belly. Diggle stitches up Oliver's bullet wound. There is visible blood. Slade shoots several people with a silenced sniper rifle. Oliver Gets in hand-to-hand combat with a man operating the radio in the ATC tower. Yao Fei punches Oliver in the face. Wintergreen beats up Oliver. Oliver has visible bloody wounds on his face as a result. Slade and Wintergreen get into a swordfight.It ends with Slade stabbing Wintergreen in the eye. The actual stabbing is not visible, but audible, and Wintergreen's body is visible a few moments later, the sword protruding and blood dripping from the eye socket in his mask. That same visual is shown a few seconds later. Slade gets shot in the shoulder. Oliver later removes the bullet with a knife. Slade yells and blood is visible dripping from the wound. Oliver hits a man over the head with a gun during a flashback.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Slade points a gun at Oliver's face and says that he has two choices: escape or die. Oliver steps on a mine during a flashback and doesn't know how to disarm it. Oliver has a seizure on a table while he's unconscious. Then he flatlines. Diggle then uses a defibrillator to restart his heart.
