A trailer for All Through the House was released earlier this month. The clip shows a young child humiliated by her mother. Later, a killer has appeared and people are turning up bloodied, in this feature from director Todd Nunes. All Through the House was completed in February, with plans for a release set to come this way soon. As well, the film stars Ashley Mary Nunes (Robot Combat League), Jessica Cameron (Truth or Dare), Melynda Kiring, Jennifer Wenger and many more. The film's official trailer and artwork are hosted here. To develop the story more, a young child has gone missing. A neighbourhood is engulfed in fear. 15 years later, to the date, Rachel (Nunes) finds herself terrorized by a masked killer. Now, Jingle Bells are replaced by dangling eyeballs, with a killer Santa ready to collect on a century of unpaid Christmas gifts. The first trailer for All Through the House...

Yes, admittedly it isn’t necessarily an obvious pairing, Face Off and Robot Combat League. Let’s look at what they have in common. Both on Syfy, Tuesday nights, one after the other, and both are competition shows. Face Off is one of Syfy‘s highest rated shows, and Rcl is just getting started.
If you’re a fan of one, though, I recommend you give the other a try. Face Off showcases the creation of some excellent special effects makeup. It’s a competition show with competitors that try to do their best work, as opposed to strategizing against the other contestants. Robot Combat League, on the other hand, is… well it’s fun. Come on, it’s fighting eight-feet-tall robots! And if you saw last week’s series premiere, you’ll want to know that it looks like the rest of the episodes will feature two battles per episode,...

Robot Combat League came out swinging last night for Syfy. The 10 Pm premiere of the mechanically inclined competition series Wednesday pulled in 1.3 million viewers for the network. While not as high as the 1.7 million the make-up artist series Face-Off averaged on Syfy in its most recent season, that’s a steel solid number for an unscripted show on the network. The tournament-style robot battle show’s 748,000 viewers Wednesday in the Adult 18-49 demo scored even better. That result for the Chris Jericho hosted series is a more than two-year unscripted premiere high for NBCUniversal owned network. The Face-Off premiere on January 26, 2011 got 896,000 in the demo. Last night’s Robot Combat League also garnered 200,000 views pre-premiere on multiple platforms including Syfy.com, VOD, Xbox 360, Roku and Hulu. Robot Combat League is produced by Smart Dog Media.

At least since 1927's "Metropolis," and continuing into the modern era with "Transformers" and this summer's anticipated blockbuster "Pacific Rim," robots have been a fixture in movies and television. Some of the mechanized creations have become popular characters in their own right, from Robby the Robot of "Forbidden Planet" and the nameless robot in TV's "Lost in Space" to those lovable droids R2-D2 and C-3Po in "Star Wars," to name just a few.
A burgeoning TV and movie genre over the years has pitted robots in battle against one another, and for a while, the "battling robots" TV trend was popular, most notably in the Comedy Central series "BattleBots." But that series featured robots created by home inventors doing battle. "Robot Combat League," premiering Tuesday, Feb. 26, on Syfy, ups the ante, combining elements of "BattleBots" with cinematic robotics.

Robot boxing isn’t just for your little Rock’em Sock’em game anymore. In the new Syfy series Robot Combat League, metal giants dole out powerful punches on other robots. Much like in the Hugh Jackman-starring Real Steel, competitors shadowbox in an exo-suit that translates every uppercut and right hook to their mechanical avatars.

In the upcoming wave of programming starting this week from SyFy you can take your pick of fighting robots, stranded paranormal investigators and paranormal interventions. Robot Combat League WWE wrestler Chris Jericho hosts what is essentially Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots for grown up kids. The competition style reality show Robot Combat League pairs up athletes/gamers/active types with engineers/programmers/nerd types and together they pilot and fight with large robots. We're still a ways away from action like Real Steal as these robots are tethered and anchored from behind but the teams indeed control every movement and motion on the floor. It really looks like a lot of fun to do. From the first episode it would appear that the more athletic types will operate the...

Chris Jericho’s impressive return at last night’s Royal Rumble is not just a one shot deal if sources within the company are to be believed.
Jericho made his sudden and unexpected return last night as the number two entrant in the Rumble contest, facing his old adversary Dolph Ziggler, the man who cost Y2J his job from a storyline point of view.
Given the reaction to Chris’ entrance, it is believed that he may appear for the company as part of the build to WrestleMania in between his commitments to his band Fozzy, who have only a small touring schedule between now and April, freeing him up for a few months.

It’s true; no matter what certain networks may claim about their “winter finales,” winter doesn’t actually start until December 21, and isn’t over until March 20. Syfy, at least, understands this, and has announced their appropriately-titled winter schedule accordingly.
Happily this means that, starting on Monday, January 14, 2013, we will have some great television to get us through the cold months, including the return of Being Human and Lost Girl, and the premiere of Continuum, and later in the week, the return of Ghost Hunters and Face Off.
Here’s the schedule of premieres, along with series synopses:
Syfy’S 2013 Winter Programming Highlighted By Series Premieres Of Ghost Mine, Robot Combat League, Stranded And Continuum Season Returns Of Hits Being Human, Face Off, Total Blackout, Ghost Hunters, Lost Girl, Haunted Collector And Final Season Of Merlin
New York – December 4, 2012 – Syfy will kick off the New Year with a robust winter...
